Always peaceful it's clean and has the best campground bathrooms. Great water to swim and boat in.

Mid-week, this campground is a treat. Highly developed for a Forest Service campground. Very busy on summer weekends. Good access to the lake. We very much enjoyed kayaking in Abayance Bay - amazing, beautiful place! There are lots of FCFS sites, if you can get here by Thursday for the weekend. If you are able to boon-dock and don't mind leveling the trailer, or you are tent camping, try Tobacco River just down the road or Douglas Hill on the other side of the bay.

This was one of the nicest campgrounds where we have ever camped. Beautiful and HUGE sites. Clean bathrooms. Great hiking. You can buy firewood from a guy in the town of Rexford.

l've been coming to Rexford Bench for over 4 years, and sadly, the experience has gone downhill. What used to be a peaceful place to camp has turned into something closer to a free-for-all. Kids constantly running and yelling well into the night, generators humming away with little regard for quiet hours, and a general lack of respect from other campers. It doesn't seem like rules are being enforced anymore or if they are, no one's paying attention. This place used to feel like a great getaway, but lately it's felt more like a crowded party spot. Disappointing to see such a beautiful location lose the quiet charm that once made it special.

We were fortunate enough to stay on a night that had availability without any reservations. Currently $24 per night for a single spot.

Loved this campground. Double-wide cement RV pad. Bathrooms are clean with flushing toilets. Short trail to water's edge. Great launch for boating.

Beautiful campground with large private sites in the forest near Lake Koocanusa. Bathrooms are immaculate. Ample parking. Prices are reasonable. Definitely calls for a return visit!

We are very pleased with the campground. It has paved sites, an Rv dump and nice tiled flush toilets. There are water spigots close but haven’t found a place to fill our water tank. Very quiet on a Wednesday!

Man this place is great! Close to an awesome off-road trail to an amazing beach (only 4x4 vehicles can get there, not kidding). Clean flushable bathrooms, camp hosts were very friendly, and pretty tight on rules so it stays nice. No showers though but there is a place for a paid shower. We stayed for 6 days in the first come first serve and didn't have trouble getting a spot on a Wednesday. It was a great experience and fun for the family, we will definitely be back.

Nicest bathrooms ever. Ton of trees for private camping. Lots of fishing spots and a beach for swimming.

The campsite was big and quiet. Short walk to the lake and the lake was warm.

Very nice campground. No hook ups for rv’s though. Stayed here in a 37’ motorhome for 3 nights
