We have camped here 3 times now. Love the place but they have changed camp hosts. Previous host was on the ball, kept the restrooms clean and stopped by to see if everything was ok. Current camp host is a ghost, we were there 3 days, camped right next to a restroom and never saw the host.

Definitely quiet and dark. It might seem like a strange campground. It was a log staging area when they built the lake. There’s 19 fire rings and tables. The bathrooms are clean when the host is on site. The Host has been super each time I was there. Boat ramp and dock are available. But this is a Bear camp so pay attention.

What a beautiful place to stop and enjoy. We don’t stay the night but we stopped on our way do glacier and I am glad we did. The dogs got out and got a drink and stretched their legs. Just a couple people were camping but no one on the beach. Amazing and peaceful! And the blue water is beautiful!!

Fishing was lousy, mostly due to Fisheries and Army Corps mismanagement. Beautiful lake and camping facilities.

I camped here off season and had the place to myself. The spacing of the sites and seclusion from neighboring ones makes me want to come back here. The parking lot is massive for the camper trailer/RV crowd. The lake is beautiful, and the sun sets behind mountains that are just on the other side, so get those campfires going early. Facilities were clean and well stocked, even off season.

Only way I can describe this place is a hidden gem. Very little traffic through the camp, but a lot of campsites so no worries getting a spot. Access to the water for boating and swimming if you want. Clean bathrooms, beautiful and clean sites and an amazing and nice camp host! If you get a chance, spend a night here!

It's great for tent camping. RV camping is a little odd as there is no pull-in sites. You park along the edges of the parking lot. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The water was great to swim in once we found the beach.
