We had planned to stay here 2 nights --bad storms coming this way. The people at Kountry Air called us to warn us of the bad weather--so nice. On our way there we had a tire blow out which delayed us several hours waiting for help. Not only did they call us to make sure we were okay they stayed up to meet us when we finally arrived to help us to our site. Very nice park and extremely good people. I rate them a 10 +

Beautiful, clean, spacious, and quiet. The owners Don and Gigi are some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. We will definitely stay here again in the future

What a beautiful place. The owners take really good care in showing their pride of ownership. Each spot feels like you have your own little forest. Really quiet. Highly recommend.

Nice quiet hideaway spot. Really nice owners. We had a bad storm and they came to check on everyone to make sure we were all doing ok and if we needed anything. Had homemade treats for our pups and a nice fenced in dog park. Roomy site we stayed on. Wish it didn't rain and storm the entire time we were there. I would've liked to explore a little. I will definitely stay again.

Firstly, I had my assistant call to make arrangements for us and Gigi was kind in getting our reservations handled promptly. The internet reviews didn't steer us wrong; this place is a gem. ||||While it's not difficult to find this place, be sure you know where you're going before you hit the road. I suggest using GoogleMaps first. It's not easy to get a long rig turned around and 20 minutes of driving to make a big loop is inconvenient if you blow past the entrance (like we did!). There are two mail boxes on their side of the street and a wooden fence (to us, it looks like a concrete bridge on approach) on the opposite side of the street. They also have a lighted sign, although it's far easier to see at night than during the day. Being right around a curve doesn't make it easy either, but once you've found it the first time it's fairly easy to find again. ||||When we arrived, we found the check-in office to be feet from the entrance, off to the right. Gigi got us checked in promptly and Don escorted us to our spot minutes after. Don was also kind enough to help us get set up. Don apparently also carries treats for the dogs who visit Kountry Air and our pups were thrilled to learn this. ||||After setup, Don came by to be sure we knew that there was a heavy storm rolling in. They even checked in a few minutes before the storm started to be sure we were squared away and knew where we could go if a tornado were to come through. ||||While the first night we spent here was under a torrential downpour, not a single stick, pine cone or leaf was found on our roof once things dried out. The grounds here are well-kept and trees seem to be well-maintained. ||||We stayed a total of 8 days. We extended our stay halfway through the reservation as this spot is quite convenient. ||||Something to mention is how QUIET this location is. More than once, I heard someone in another RV clear their throat and was treated to being able to HEAR squirrels foraging more than 100 feet away from the site. It's that quiet. ||||Other guests/residents here are also quiet and friendly. Only once did we even hear someone raise their voice and it was during daylight hours. More often than not, you'll see folks walking around (sometimes with their dog or pushing a stroller) and the majority will smile and wave. I suspect many of the folks here may be snow birds. ||||Gigi and Don have been the most gracious of hosts and I can't say enough in their favor. They had no issue with our large breed dogs. They have provided a chain-link dog park for their guests (big enough for 2+ big dogs to run and play). The trash bin is easily found (right at the front of the park). They're always available when you need them, be that questions about reservations or obtaining propane onsite. ||||We absolutely will return to this location if we have business again in the area. If I had any complaints at all, it would be the patchy wifi that cuts in and out. That said, we're at the back of the park and this might have something to do with connectivity. It still wouldn't keep us from coming back. ||||Note: Our brakes started to malfunction while we were here so we had to find a service shop. We can highly recommend Express Oil on Cobbs Ford Rd. We found them to be friendly, eager to help and their prices are competitive. They also got us in with absolutely no notice and offered us a shuttle service if we had business to attend to during our service appointment.

OUTSTANDING campground and hosts! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. My husband and I stayed here for a month and enjoyed every minute of it. The campsites are large and clean. The shower and laundry facilities are well kept. Gigi and Don are extremely friendly and very helpful. They take great pride in their campground and it definitely shows. The campground is conveniently located to downtown Prattville, but still has a country feel to it. 10/10, would stay again.

I'll start by saying that Gigi and Don are two of the kindest campground owners that we have met in over 2 years of full-time RVing! Gigi went out of her way to explain local places of interest during check-in, including giving us an excellent downtown map of Prattville. Then Don escorted us to our site and helped us to get situated. Both of them are wonderful people and fantastic conversationalists. We stayed for 1 week in full hookup pull-through site A and it was awesome. Lots of fantastic tree shade and the site was very wide. Our stay was then extended due to some urgent RV maintenance. Unfortunately we were asked to move across the road to site #24. This site was skinnier, had less shade and there was a noticeable poop odor. No animal land mines were visible so perhaps it is located near the septic tank? I'm certainly grateful that Gigi was able to accommodate our extension request on short notice, but it would have been nice to be able to stay in the first site. Especially because it sat unoccupied for several days. Free campground wifi worked at both sites and it was really good. We were able to program lots of over-the-air TV channels. Campground bathrooms and showers were clean. Movies and books available in the office. Propane is sold onsite for $4.00 per gallon. Don't miss the Legacy Museum and Memorial in nearby Montgomery.

Extraordinary place. Sadly got to spend but one night there but easily could see us there for a long term stay. All of their spots are wide, long and fully equipped and well maintained. The owners are the best; very friendly and hospitable. Huge dog run for the beasties. More amenities than you can use. Highly recommend Kountry Air!

This is such a great little RV park. We have been going there for 7 years for work in the area and now for pleasure. Beautifully wooded with nature all around. Just far enough out of town to make it quiet but still convenient. Can't ask for better host. Always there if you need a hand or a dog treat. Will be going back for many years.
