Just finished a week long stay at this campground. We will definitely be back! The grounds and facilities were well kept and in fantastic condition. The sites are spacious and well organized. The layout of the park is very convenient and easy to get around. The owners were so nice and extremely accommodating. It's located in a great spot, central to all sorts of fun UP things. The Wi-Fi was helpful to keep us in contact with family and friends in an otherwise spotty service area.

Stayed for 1 night LAST MINUTE over a holiday weekend. Great stay! Grounds were well kept, shower house was clean (I would have showered in it but we had a full hook up site so no need!) Camp store was well stocked and the staff was super friendly. Great proximity to the falls. Will definitely stay again next time we are in the area!

There are some things I like and some I do not. Starting with the do-nots so this can end on a positive note. I think the 5mph limit is really slow and 10 would be better. The camp sites are all tight up together and small compared to the campgrounds we are used to. You can't bring your own wood. Men's room could have been cleaner but they do clean it daily, girls was better. Had to press a button on the shower to get lukewarm water and press it again every minute which I didn't care for. The sinks were the same but shorter times - it saves a lot on water but they need to stay on longer. I like that the nights were quiet. Most people were friendly. The staff was concerned that our stay might not be as enjoyable as we expected - I give them a point for that. They have a laundry that looks nice but I didn't go inside it. Pretty decent playground for kids. No lake or ponds though. We only got electric @ 40 bucks a night but some sites offer full hookup.

Just finished a two week UP trip, staying in 4 different campgrounds. Kritters hands down was our favorite. Well kept grounds, clean fire pits, bath house and laundry areas. The new office and store is so nice. Lots of cute or useful items. Owners nice as they could be. You can tell they take pride in their campground. Will definitely return. On a side note we left our water pressure gauge on the spigot. The owners contacted us and sent it to our home! Great customer service.

This is our second time at Kritters and this experience was even better than the first! The sites are huge, every site has a clear view of the playground to keep an eye on the kids, the trails were beautiful to ride our bikes, especially the gnome village in the woods, the new campstore is amazing with great merchandise, and the bathrooms were always clean. The owners were absolutely fantastic!!! They were so friendly and fun to talk to that my husband had to come find me a couple times. We had an issue on our site that was our fault and Brice immediately came to our site to help! My daughter will be wearing her Kritters Campground shirt proudly! We can’t wait to visit this hidden gem again!
