La Veta Pines RV Park is located just 3 miles from Devil's Staircase Dike and roughly 6 miles from Dike's Trail, making it incredibly convenient for outdoor enthusiasts. The park is kept immaculate, and many of the RV sites are nicely shaded. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Audrey, who provided us with camp information, Wi-Fi access codes, and a lovely goody bag. We would definitely love to stay here again!

La Veta Pines RV Park is a true gem. The park is peaceful, well-maintained, and surrounded by stunning scenery. Waking up each morning to breathtaking views of the Spanish Peaks was unforgettable. The sites are spacious, the atmosphere is relaxing, and it’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of southern Colorado. The new owners, Chris and Jodi, clearly love both the park and the community, and their enthusiasm shines through in everything they do. They were eager to share the history of the park and the surrounding area, which added a personal touch to our stay. The site hosts, Lady Bug and Andrea, are warm and welcoming, making guests feel at home from the moment they arrive. Whether you're seeking a quiet retreat, outdoor adventure, or simply incredible mountain views, La Veta Pines RV Park is an outstanding choice. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning. One of the highlights of our visit was joining the owners on a trip to Cuchara Mountain Ski Park, where volunteers and successful fundraising efforts have helped reopen the slopes and trails. We attended a chili cook-off fundraiser and enjoyed live music, making it a wonderful community event and a great way to experience the local culture and hospitality that make this area so special

Great little campground with very kind host. Located in walking distance of downtown and local restaurants. Would highly recommend. This is our third year to stay here. Attended the local Memorial Day service and it was amazing.

The park is under new ownership. This is their first year. The owners and the hosts are so friendly and the service is excellent! There's a 5 star restaurant right next door and it's only about 4 blocks to town. Easily walkable! We highly recommend this park
