This is a very nice RV park in a quiet small Colorado mountain town. We were met at the entrance and escorted to our spot. The park offers full hookups and had great WiFi. It is pet friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend it.

Great RV park! Recommend by my brother and we will be recommending to family and friends. We love the small town atmosphere but close enough to bigger chain stores. It was fun seeing the mule deer roaming around town. Definitely going on our re-visit list!

What a beautiful campground! Very clean and the host was remarkable! You can tell he takes great pride in his campground. It was walking distance into the quaint little town of La Veta where there were shops and restaurants. Also very close to the town of Cuchara which was a real gem! I would definitely stay here again!

Ice cream social was a fun treat. The campground is small, well kept and conveniently located close to everything in La Veta. Camp fires aren’t allowed(regardless of fire bans or not). Full hook ups on almost perfectly level sites. Highly recommended based on our experience!

This was our experimental maiden voyage with our newly purchased tiny camper! La Veta Pines RV Park was perfect...quiet, beautiful, easy access to EVERYTHING, but mostly the kindness of Greg and his wisdom on camping and what might be an issue with some of our water connection issues!! He spent the time to explain things to us, make wonderful suggestions and just really educate! WE LOVE this RV park!

The campground was very clean, and bathroom showers were small but clean. It was very noisy in this location, lots of traffic. The outdoor movie was fun and with free popcorn. If you're into Coleman lanterns, coolers, and stoves, the owner has a great collection. I would stay here again in an RV tent, which was quite loud. Deer would pass thru nice to see them. Supplies in the store have just about anything you would need, town is within walking distance.

Very quiet location just blocks from the city center. Very clean and well managed. Full hookups with either 30 amp or 50 amp. Generous noon check out time gives one plenty of time to get things accomplished before departing. Gravel interior, although a little tight to maneuver. Stayed three nights with a 36' travel trailer. Great place, off of the beaten path.

This was our first time staying here. Nice - quiet and shady. The ice cream social on Friday evening was awesome. We met 3 other couples and enjoyed talking and laughing with them. The food truck was also a bonus. We will definitely be back here again. Thank you for a great stay !

Cute little RV park, gravel sites, mostly level, in a small town. Seems to be well maintained , can’t speak to the amenities as we used our rig for everything. Unfortunately with our size rig (not really sure the other sites dimensions) we ended up in the very last corner of the lot. Guess luck of the draw, but there wasn’t really any view other than the sides of buildings and a camper next to us. It was just for a week and we made it work. On Tuesday’s a food truck comes on the property which smelled delicious, but we had already eaten out somewhere else. The location is really good for scenic drives hikes of any length and close enough to get to the Great Sand Dunes NP which is why we stayed here. Overall quaint little park and town and would recommend.

What a wonderful place to go relax! La Veta in general is awesome, but staying at La Veta Pines is part of what makes it so great! We’ve stayed 3 times, and the owner was super accommodating to our unusually large rig. The place is very clean and well kept with full hookups! Ice cream socials and movie night with popcorn is a great time. Can’t wait to go back and 100% recommend staying here!
