granddaughter stayed and everything went good . We have a yearly lot and boat storage at this location. I saw some reviews about Cumberland point that is run by the state on this site. We are off Daws Ridge rd. Very nice place and very quiet. If you are looking for a permanent location this is the place. Shaded and great people camping here.

A shady campground like most are slightly too close but overlooking Lake Cumberland with beautiful sunsets.

There's not enough parking for boats and there are too many golf carts running around.

It's small and very nice. Mature trees and real close to the lake. We would come here again.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights here . Access to the water is easy , boat ramp in campground and this is an out of the way campground run by the Corps. Real nice sites with lake views and clean bathrooms , cell service is spotty but who needs that when you are on the lake .

This is not Cumberland point! The prices are outrageous here, and too many people, would not go here.

This is not the Corps of Engineers Federal Parks Campgrounds. This is a public Resort/Camp. They have a similar Name. This makes for all the confusion. I wanted the Federal Parks Campgrounds.

Wonderful hostess very clean facility Would leave a 5 except camping site was very small and hook-ups were backwards to view lake front Also there was no markings to find the camp site from our direction of travel

Federal camp ground, mostly rv sites, they do have a couple of tent sites. The sites are cozy but well engineered to maximize views and different sizes of camping vehicles. Each site has a picnic table, fire pit, trash pole, water, and electric. The boat ramp is steep but works. It has a small dock for one boat at a time to tie to. Two experienced boat launchers can use the ramp at one time. If you are camping there you can have overnight parking for your boat. Red and his wife are the hosts, very friendly and informative. Their dog Dexter is adorable!
