This place is absolutely filthy! Not sure when or if the shower, sinks, toilets have ever been cleaned, garbage overflowing. Laundry room stinks and is overflowing with dirty laundry piled up in corner. Site was nasty, filthy, dirty dirt with remnants of previous use. Not gravel as described and definitely not groomed. Can't believe this is a KOA! There's no way the review rating is real! Total rip off!! Soo disappointed!!!

I haven’t tried the rooms but used the RV space. The campsite is clean enough and the camp hosts are very helpful and thoughtful. They put on different entertainment events for the kids (like rock painting and an ice cream social) and the adults alike. There’s plenty of shade but also plenty of mosquitos.

We went here while they were doing some renovations, but it did not detract at all! We brought a camper and were easily able to locate and park. The staff were amazing and so helpful checking us in too. The campsite is well shaded and has lots of amenities. They had a camp store, pub, a pool( which we got a lot of use out of), a  ghost town themed playground with swings, camp kitchen(with a microwave), games(like horseshoe and giant tetris) plus a sluice. We bought two giant bags of rocks and had so much fun. They also have planned activities during the weekend like icecream social, pancake breakfast, popcorn, and rock painting.

The only downside is mosquitos so be sure to bring bug spray and citronella.

The campground was very adequate and camping lots spacious. Women’s bathrooms and showers were closed for repair and plumber turned off water the next morning. The staff was as helpful as could be and I sure the rating would be 5 stars after start up and the season gets rolling.

We were traveling over the winter in our truck camper and required water and laundry so of course we found a KOA on our route.  We arrived at 3 in the afternoon and we were a bit concerned to see the office closed, but a manager promptly arrived to get us settled into a site.  We were informed  they were going through some major renovations leaving the park at minimal maintainance.  The facilities needed some care and upon informing them they quickly took care of it.    That evening while doing laundry we returned to find staff had kindly restarted our dryers because the clothing hadn't quite gotten dried.  The park was not in perfect order, but the care the staff took to make us comfortable went above and beyond.  We hope to return someday to see the amazing changes to their facilities.  Personal touches like this make for great experience. Thank you for our lovely stay.

We booked this KOA for Labor Day weekend. We were so excited for a long relaxing weekend. Checking in we had no issues. Our RV spot was spot 5. It was clean, shady, and full hookups. We were able to set up without issue. Shortly after we got all setup our surge protector kept cutting power due to low voltage. It was around 4:30 and close to 100 degrees. Our RV needs power to run the AC. We sat outside hoping the low voltage issue would pass, it didn’t. And, the smell of raw sewage kept wafting our way while trying to relax outside.

My husband went to the office to request maintenance. They came out promptly and suggested we remove our surge protector to solve the low voltage problem. My husband absolutely refused to do that. It’s there to protect the RV. Low voltage can cause overheating and is a potential fire hazard.

The next day the issue continued. We let the front office know. It was close to 100 degrees on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. We would not check out till Monday. Between the low voltage and the strong sewage smell we decided to end our vacation. We requested a refund for the nights we did not stay. The manager, Ramona was called and said we would get a refund. That’s to be seen. There were other issues like the women’s restrooms not having toilet paper, soap dispenser broken, bathroom dirty.

Staff however, very polite.

This is a great site to spend a great time camping whether you have a tent or an RV. The staff are excellent and they maintain a very clean and friendly venue.

Amazing location right next to where all the outdoor fun is. Melissa checked us in and it was definitely one of the most courteous and friendly welcomes that I've had at any campsite. Very clean and up kept. Will return for another awesome experience

Pros: Grounds maintained to expectations.  Pool Clean, but closed for the season.
Cons: HORRIBLE BATHROOMS!!!  NOT CLEANED for 3 days. We stayed during 4 days including thanksgiving.  In the men's room, 3 out of 5 toilets were out of order for a long time with duct tape around the seat, including the Handicap stall, 1 of 3 showers were out of order. The shower floors were slimy.  Had to bring your own toilet paper, because they were empty. Soap dispenser was empty 1 out of 2.  Burned out light at entrance, with a 6 digit code to enter to use the bathroom in the dark, in the middle of nowhere??  Poop all over the floor and seats due to overflowing toilets.  This is obviously not a priority, because posts from October 1, said the same thing.  They were out cleaning the pool, but not the bathrooms.  Also, no exhaust vents for the smells, they had a portable fan in the window.  Nothing is ADA accessible, curbs and a narrow entrance door to the restrooms.

I did address my concerns with the manager on Saturday morning.  No explanation given from her.

We came out here because of the beauty and because of the wonderful reviews I had read about Mona the lady who runs this place, and I must say every word was true! We are in a tent and have water and electric hookups which is wonderful, and I couldn't ask for a more nice and welcoming lady as Mona! I had never ran a one cup coffee maker and she stopped her breakfast to come and do it for me which was so nice, and now I know how to do it! (Thank you!) They have a little restaurant that serves biscuits and gravy, a fenced dog area for pets to do their business, a general store onsite that sells supplies like propane bottles, and t-shirts, as well as a small bar next to it, restrooms with showers that are heated, and even a laundry room and play area for kids if you have them, and horse shoes for those of us who don't! It's very fair priced at around 37.00 per night, and if you join their rewards program for 36.00 per year you get 10 percent off of every stay as well as other special coupons for 20 percent off a weekday stay, and other specials too! The stars at night shine so bright it definitely makes you feel closer to God's creation!  I recommend this place for anyone camping in an RV, tent, or if you want to rent one of their cabins you can do that as well! Beautiful place, and very nice people!

We stayed in the cabins, very surprised how nice they are.... just wish the beds were a wee bit softer.
The staff is fantastic, friendly and very accommodating.
We went with a group of 20 to enjoy the trails across the street, BLM land. OnX has most of the trails in the GPS maps. You'll find trails perfect for youngsters and trails for the big boys.
Another plus, great restaurant you can walk to just down the road. Look for the green sign..sorry,  I don't remember the name.

Nice place to camp if you need . Sunny, some windy , lots of singing birds

Such a cozy spot. Staff was amazing. Bathrooms were clean. Store was well stocked. Great location. Not walking distance to the lake but close. I will be back soon
