Very disappointed. Been on a road trip from Sedona az to San Jose Ca with my two daughters and six grandkids. The campground is mostly gravel, and although we paid for two sites and the camp was half empty they refused to let us set up a small tent next to the rv so we could be together for one night. In addition the WiFi barely functions and the lake was full of smelly algae. Today I need to drive back up a 6% grade for 14 miles to get back on the road to Death Valley.

People in the camp were behaving strangely Many of them had dry skin and looked like zombies.When they saw me, they ran towards me and attacked me. I barely saved my life Additionally, the radiation level is quite high.

This used to be one of our favorite places to vacation, that has all changed over the past few years. The roads are almost completely deteriorated, and drinking water has an awful taste. The park is being overrun with day use campers that destroy the campground and leave litter everywhere. The Park Rangers follow the residents and campground guests around hassling them for anything possible. Sadly this will be our last season, it has become more trouble than enjoyment.

Nothing here but slavers and roman larpers. They kept saying "degenerates like you belong on a cross". Definitely not coming back.

One star is actually a gift. First of all, the entire property is built on a hillside so good luck with leveling. To say that the sites are rocky is the least of the matter. Strewn with boulders and gutted with ruts is closer. There's been zero in the way of maintenance here. And don't discount tire damage. Who do you suppose will pay for that? Maybe you can beg for your $40 dollar refund. Oh, and the campground? It was empty on a Sunday afternoon for the same reasons listed above.

This place is amazing rv park hotel and camping. Really can't believe that some people are so ignorant to give you one star because of the bad phone service. Well to that lady, needs to leave the area and stay away. Wood cove.. The only time you need your phone is to take beautiful picture of the lake and family. If you need your phone that much stay in the city. Thank you cottonwood cove for all the wonderful vacations Tina White

The cabins were being updated the last time we were there. Excited Weto go back this summer to see . We enjoy camping on site and also have a room because we have a little one. I spent most of my first year after having a baby at this campground . Real peaceful . The rangers are polite . The breakfast cafe also has affordable food for those who aren't camping.
