We are staying on E 100 area , the bathroom has a hole in the roof , they smell like dead fish and the worst thing is there is a major ant infestation around the camp sites , I talked to a friend and he had this same problem a couple of months ago in June , I figured they would have been spraying and taking care of the ant problem by now , my wife had ants all in her vehicle and they were all in the camper , this is unacceptable , I understand that there will be insects while camping but this is the worst I have ever seen.

This is our third year out here for spring break. It's cold. Very cold. ❄️❄️❄️ We bring our LLB sleeping bags rated for 40°, and we still sleep in our clothes, and are still freezing. But, it is entirely worth it! I will never go to the beach for spring break again. It is incredibly beautiful out here. After a cold night, temperatures can climb into short and t-shirt weather. The camp spots are perfect. The tent plots are perfect. The sand is flat or mostly flat, and the sand is great for tent stakes; it is fairly easy to hammer into and holds stakes well. Bring hand soap. The bathrooms/showers are always stocked with toilet paper, but they do not put soap and will remove it if you leave it in there. Boat noise can be distracting if you are looking for total peace, but the farther away you are from the boat ramp, the less noise you'll get. Cell phone service is fairly decent but don't expect to stream videos and music. Bring firewood and fire starters if you plan on making a fire. Wind can be a problem for starting a fire and using a camp stove is next to impossible.

Great park to camp in. Reservations are easy to make online and the camp is clean and well maintained. The lots are great if a little too close together. That said, everyone was polite and quiet so it worked out fine. I would stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful camp ground. Just be prepared with what all you'll be needing because they do not have any sort of store or ice machines. We will definitely be back!

We visited this campground the week of 6/7/2021 ... absolutely beautiful! Staff super friendly and helpful. Campsites extremely clean and pristine, well-cared for. Because of the rain the lake was up about 6 or 7 feet, but the sites and areas by the lake were nevertheless cut nicely - virtually no issues with any mosquitos or bugs! We stayed in the E100s section - this area seems to be a little quieter area, several spots right on the lake, E106 - E108 appear to be the "best" spots for lake view and lots of shade. Beautiful humongous pine trees, a large area where the deer come to "frolic" in the morning and the evening. We had a mama that would bring her two babies in the morning, they would play, the babies would take a nap, the mama would leave for a couple of hours and come back and get them. The E200 section is a larger section, a little older, close to boat ramp, picnic areas, swimming beach (which was under water during our stay due to the rain), MANY trees, a playground, appears to be an area that is very well suited to families and larger groups. No sewer hookups, but an easy-in/easy-out dump station. We will absolutely be back! Should definitely be on your list of campgrounds to consider!!! And, our cell service was EXCELLENT!!!!
