Beautiful campgrounds. Sunsets are magical. Water for our fresh water tank was supplied by the absolutely fantastic host. Campgrounds are clean and well maintained. Very quiet and out of the way. Definitely will stay here again!

Zero shade for our spot. have to use tokens to showers. live and dead bugs all over bathroom and outside bathroom/shower bldg. booked 2 nights, now leaving early in the a.m. We are Pa and love our state parks. and we paid the $14.00 daily pass to stay here!!!!

The toilets don’t have showers, but they’re clean! Pretty place. Wish lake access was easier from the campground.

It’s as nice as possible for a man made lake where you can’t see through the water at all. People in Nebraska are much nicer and more friendly than a lot of places. Prices at the store feel like you went backwards in a Time Machine. We visited in April so the boating and activities really get going in the summer.

We saw a lot of eagles flying and sitting on the ice. Some were fairly close. There is a very nice building to watch from. Good telescope for public use. A very helpful host in the building.

First time here and I'm very happy we came during the off-season! Not crowded at all, the campsite we got faces the lake, we're in a shaded area, not windy at all, and it's quiet! Very beautiful early morning, especially when there's fog on the lake! I highly recommend coming here during the off-season because it's more enjoyable, especially for people like us who don't have a boat or watercraft to actually get out on the water with! The only thing I recommend is to find firewood before coming into the park. Since it is off-season, firewood isn't as easy to find.

Fantastic location for the water enthusiast or for fishing. We brought an RV and rent was modest at approximately 30.00 per night with electricity, no sewer or water although water stations are near by to load tanks. There are facilities on premise and showers for an additional fee. The grounds are well maintained and trash dumpsters near by. Access to water is by rocky shores we didnt find a beach access on the east campground but did see opportunities on the west camp ground which offers less amenities. Nights were quiet and other campers friendly and talkative when we did encounter them. Lake was clean and visibility was 👍
