This is a beautiful park sitting on Lake Texoma. The sites are spacious and unique due to the windy roads and allows for wonderful views on the lake from every site. We are in site #34. The website read this site is a 50 amp but when we got here we found it is a 30 amp. This time of year, we have been ok not running everything needed and the site is very shady. We will come back again and try another site.

Unfortunately a pleasant experience turned into a conflict with a Mowing Lady TODAY That Hit My Vehicle Several Times With Chunks of Tree, Rocks, Dirt ect... I was currently sitting in a shaded spot waiting on my husband to make it back across the lake, after the 3rd or 4th time of her hitting the vehicle, I finally couldn't stand it I got out of my husband's truck to confront her... Letting her know she's hit the Vehicle Several times- her 1st words to me we're, I didn't hit anything immediately defensive and rude I just wanted her to realize what she did, she then decided to threaten me being where I was waiting and began to harass me about leaving now an how she's calling in on me also taking pictures of my tags! I was completely baffled at the situation, I asked for her name during conflict and supervisors names what company, her an the other man Mowing proceeded to watch Me pull to the water an wait on my husband.... (ITS PRETTY PATHETIC ALL I WANT WAS AN APOLOGY AN SOME ACKNOWLEDGEMENT) For what she did she had no remorse and chose to be defensive, rude, an disrespectful.....

We didn't go to camp, but the campground is clean, and the spaces seem to have plenty of room for RV sized vehicles. We got a day pass to paddleboard. The water in this cove is calm and has a good bit of shoreline behind the wake bouys. We launched on the side opposite of the dock and enjoyed the afternoon in the water. Day pass is only $5.

This is a very nice Corp of Engineers Park. We were in spot #28 and had a nice view of the lake. We were here in late May and the temperature was lovely. We opened the windows on the travel trailer to enjoy the cool breeze. Enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the lake. We were just here overnight so I didn’t go to the bathhouse on site but it’s not far from our spot. Gave it a 4 because it’s electric and water only, no sewer hookup which makes it’s hard for us to stay more than about 4 days. There is a dump station in the park. There are picnic tables and fire pits at each site. There are a lot of mature trees which offers shade at most locations. We had no problem backing into the site, plenty of room to maneuver and no trees to block our path. Would love to come back when we have longer to stay and enjoy the full experience of the park.

Nice campground, I stayed in early December so some of the sites were closed for the season so it was very quiet. Lots of boating activity, looks like it’s a good place for boaters to launch from.

Great campground! Water hookups are shared, so be sure to have a longer fresh water hose (50ft or more) and your own grill if you want to use charcoal. Aside from that, great tables, fire pits with flip grill (could be used with fire/charcoal), and lake views. Plenty of space for kids to run around, and it has somewhat of a beach as well. Will definitely be going back there for times at Texoma!
