We arrived here in the evening and while we were setting up the tent we saw so many spiders everywhere. I was horrified! We wanted to leave right away, but the gates were closed after 10 pm and we couldn't do anything. Also, you could hear the noise from the road, like trucks honking. It took us 3 and a half hours to get to this camp, it was really sad that we wasted so much time. Next morning update: 11 spider at the entrance of my tent 😫

We recently spent 2 days there. It is so beautiful! It was really nice relaxing and listening to all the families having fun The bathrooms are extremely clean. The campground is well taken care of with beautiful views of the water. The reason for 3 stars is the bugs! When the sun starts to set. It turns into an investigation of tiny moths or knats .the spiders are insane. It was sooo bad ! We couldn't have a light on because our rv would fill with them. The entire side of the door looked black from so many bugs. BUT, if you dont mind that. It's a great place to take your family

Very disappointed. We are here for the hottest weekend of the summer, and yet, now we can't go swimming because of leeches and the water's just murky, unless you go way out past some type of slimy stuff to get in deeper water. The spiders and bugs are the worst I've ever seen had a campsite.

I like the park it is peaceful and nice but I would not go swimming there. I went there with my family yesterday for my mom's birthday and we went swimming in the water, about 10-15 minutes in to swimming we had to get out of the water because we all had leaches. We were covered in them and we had to warn another family about the leaches we went to the bathroom to get them off and they were all over the floor. It is nice but do not go swimming in the water or you will get leaches. Definitely not swimming there again.

Me and my husband took our kids to the river. The river was spacious and cooling. But very mud. Bring some good shoes to get in the river. Or if you don't mind the texture of wet mud, then your good to go barefoot.
