Great campground. Good beach. Sites are a little open and some are prone to flooding in the rain.

Great campground! Clean quiet and lots of tree’s, stalls were large and easy to back into, staff was great and friendly! Firewood was priced good pits located in stalls well! Downsides were the dump station is a bit of a travel and other nit picky things for myself

Washroom has no tap. No dump site for RV .The lake has weeds. The campsites are nice. Water only in pumping well.

It was our first visit to this new provincial campground and we will definitely be back. We decided to go camping last minute for the long weekend and this was one of only places with availability. Thought I’d leave the pros and cons. Pros: - really spacious campsites amongst a gorgeous landscape. Our site was private and well treed in. - great beach with lots of space and they even provide life jackets. We brought our paddle board and had a blast. - outhouses were cleaned every morning which we really appreciated. - water quality of the lake was excellent. Spotted pelicans and loons. - northern lights made an appearance our first night - we realized we forgot pillows 😔 and made the 40 minute drive to Lac La Biche. Thankfully Fields saved the day. We decided to make the most of it and grabbed lunch at the golf course. We had a really wonderful meal at Pasture + Market with a beautiful lake view. Now we want to come back and bring our clubs. Cons - no water hookups and no shower houses which is really unfortunate. Being in bear country there should also be a dish wash area otherwise campers in tents are forced to dump dish water. - poor cell reception which is fine but be sure to have your map app loaded before you’re within 30 minutes of arrival and pay attention to the route for when you leave. - store is convenient and well stocked for the small size but I felt horrible for the person working by herself all weekend. There were long lineups for ice cream every time we visited. There really should be two staff members for peak days. - playground was cute but quite small and geared for five and under. My kids were bored within minutes of visiting.

Pinehurst Lake campground is a hidden gem. It is very clean and well run. Every camping spot has electricity which is a nice perk, and even the outhouses are new and modern with motion sensor lights. The fishing is great, and the beach is clean.
