Welcoming staff and beautiful campground with views of Lake Michigan and the Mackinaw Bridge! Private rocky beach to view the Bridge! We arrived after the office closed but they had a detailed map of where our Yurt was! Thank you to Emily and Alicia for being so helpful! We all felt right at home, especially our dog Charli Girl! She loved the yurt! We enjoyed sitting outside around the fire pit, cooking hotdogs and enjoying the fresh air! Thanks again! We will be back!

This is our third time at this campground and we really enjoy staying here. Water view sites are a little small but enjoyable. Pull through sites are nice. Tent sites are nice and the yurts look to be pretty nice as well. The bathrooms and showers are clean. There is a pavilion available. The Camp office/store has the necessities you may need; phone chargers, phone cords, contact lens cases and solution, bug spray and lip balm among other things. Firewood available for purchase. The beach access is across the road where you can see the Big Mac Bridge, St. Helen island, Mackinaw City and Lake Michigan at your feet. The beach is a rock beach but very relaxing. If you are planning to go to Mackinaw Island you can call Sheplers Ferry after you buy tickets online and they will send a shuttle to come pick you up from the campground and take you to the boarding dock and bring you back when you leave the Island; better than paying $15 a day to use their parking lot. Dump station is in the back of the campground but just about every site has full hookup; the hookups may be a bit awkward and you will most likely need an extension for electrical at the water view backup sites. Camped host (Bob) is a very nice guy and office staff are very friendly. Great location for a travel hub to see many things for a day trip or just chill in the area.

We had a waterview RV site with full hookups (30/50 amp electric, water, sewer, WIFI). Sites are tight but manageable and the view is nice. WIFI bandwidth is like being on dial-up...really poor, but there is a good 4G/5G cell signal, so plan on using your phone as a hotspot. The beach access is across the street with great views of the Mighty Mac as well as sunsets and ships. Picnic tables were new and lightweight (easy to move). The people working there were nice and courteous. The downside is the bathrooms/showers, which look like they were built in 1960 using leftover materials. No ventilation but they do have paper towel. One of the cleaning staff indicated the owners are planning to renovate the bathrooms, which would be the minimum needed. Really needs a tear down and replacement. Bottom line: for a RV, this is a pretty nice place. If you're a tent camper, the bathrooms at the state park are better.

Sites are a little close but not bad at all. The beach is just a short walk & is very nice. Bathrooms are clean but could use a little update. Nice park! A plus, Sheplers will bring a shuttle to pick you up & bring you back if you are riding the ferry to Mackinac Island.

The office staff are delightful and this is the first time I've ever used the word delightful in a review but, I kid you not, they delighted me. The sites are a bit tight but the view of the Straits of Mackinaw makes up for it. I've been traveling for several weeks and this is the first full hook up I've had since I left home so I'm pretty happy about that. Also, I had a lot of laundry to do and the prices for the laundry facility were very reasonable. I'm in the third row of the campground and am enjoying a view of the water. The private beach offers a stunning view of the Mackinac Bridge. You MUST walk down there after dark to enjoy the bridge when it's lit up. I will say, the bathroom/shower house at the back of the property could use some renovation but the one bath/shower attached to the office is really nice. There is a great space in front of the back bathrooms that has picnic tables and plastic curtains to block the wind and it is awesome. My only complaint would be the condition of the back bathroom/shower facility. It could be cleaner and it needs some repair.

I was in fhu pull in or back in spot #112 with a clear view of Lake Michigan. Stayed 2 nights at the beginning of July as that is all they had or I would have stayed longer in that spot. It's one of only a few spots that have an unobstructed view. Picnic table and fire pit were provided too. It's close to the bathroom and showers as well and a pavilion. Because you can pull in or back in depending on how you want your view there are utilities on each side. Though depending on your neighbor you may have to use one side over the other but during my stay it worked out conveniently. Wi-fi is really non-existent. Especially when it's a full house. But you'll not want to be on your phone or working when you're staying at such a beautiful place. Down the hill and across the street there is private access to the water and a view of the Mackinaw bridge. This makes it so easy to walk down and enjoy the sunrise/sunset and watch the ships passing by. I even carefully went down at night to see the bridge lit up. Was a bit dark so flashlight recommended for that midnight stroll. Bathrooms were clean showers hot. Has a very nice relaxing stay and would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stop for a rest or stay for a week. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean well run camp ground. I did not use the bath house but they were a little dated. The laundry is small but efficient. Full hookups are available with 30/50 amp service. Sites are a little on the small size but there were plenty of big rigs present. There are tent sites available and a few yurts too. There’s no pool or playground but that’s what Lake Michigan is for! The water is crystal clear and felt quite warm. There’s a free shuttle to the ferry to get over to Mackinac Island. Many sites were pull thru. Not all sites have unobstructed views to the lake, but there is a beautiful field in the front of the campground that offers everyone a view. I hope to return!

Stayed here in the Moose Yurt as a "home base" for our weekend around the EUP. The location was perfect and easy to find. Yurt was super nice and kept us cozy and dry despite the cool and rainy weather. Bathrooms were kept clean and the view of the bridge and water was a nice sight to wake up to!

Beautiful area across Lake Michigan and our site was wonderful due to our large 43 ft RV and plenty of room to park the car behind us. A nice walk to the lake with benches and picnic tables. Our labs loved to swim in the lake. The gals in office very friendly and personable. We would definitely come again for another week stay.

The dogs barking was out of control. The neighbors sewer was only shoved into the sewer pipe. Hugh violation in most campgrounds. Sewer smell throughout campground. Office manger didn’t care when I brought this to her attention. Beach area was not maintained, trash everywhere. Lawns were not cut in between campers. I could go on and on! I asked the office manager to have the owners call me regarding my concerns. Nothing yet!

Beautiful views of Lake Michigan and a nice beach access area to enjoy the Lake. Reasonable laundry facilities and clean bath house. The only hiccup we experienced was being door to door facing our neighbor with limited privacy. Everyone was super friendly and there was space behind our camper for us to sit. Very helpful staff with great recommendations for a shuttle to Mackinac Island.

Nice location. About 2 miles to St Ignace. Clean and quiet park. Talked to many people who come here year after year. They have a private beach for those who park here. Nice people run the place. We would stay again. Bathrooms , tables, portable fire pits, Prices are reasonable. $42.

This campground was a nice quiet place to come back to after a day of being out & about, looking at sights. We stayed for 3 nights & tent camped. The tent spots were a really good size for a 6 person tent and we only had neighbors 2 of the nights and they were both super quiet and kind. The owners were very nice & they have ice and firewood on sight which was very convenient. They have property right on the lake, just across the road. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers had removable shower heads which was nice because they were on the smaller side. We would definitely camp there again.

My wife and I stayed here for a week. This is a wonderful little RV Park with full hookups. I think it's an older facility, but very well kept. Sites and roads are level with gravel / grass. The front row sites are actually built with water and sewer hookups on BOTH sides, so you can pull straight in or back in. If you have a motorhome, pull straight in and enjoy the view of the water across the street. Also, they have a small rocky beach with fire pit across the street - very cool! There's also plenty to do and see in the area.
