Lake Side State Park next to Lake Ontario is great place to go camping, We enjoy the peaceful sunsets, riding our bikes on the well paved roads, I will definitely come back and camp there again x

I haven't been camping in nearly 30 years, so this is my first time in a long while. I really enjoyed being out here; the place is peaceful and lovely. However, my wife mentioned that the ladies' room was somewhat messy. The only thing the location lacks is a beach, which is fine with me since I don't swim, although the kids do. definitely gonna come back again.

Nice clean campground. Bathrooms were very dated but mostly clean though the floors stayed wet. The showers were good but the force of water through the nozzle created a mist that filled the whole bath house so everything stayed wet the week I was there. Not much to do at the park but plenty to do within about an hour. See Niagara Falls. Bike/hike along Lake Erie. Visit Rochester. Swim at the beaches of other parks within 30 minutes. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. There is an awesome farmers marked and ice cream shop very nearby. There was water throughout the park but none at the dump to fill holding tanks

Lakeside Beach is a quiet and relaxing spot, perfect if you’re looking for peace and beautiful views. There’s not much to do unless you bring a picnic or something to keep you occupied, but the lack of crowds makes it a great place to unwind and enjoy the scenery.

Beautiful wide open view of Lake Ontario and very windy! Looking forward to disc golf at The Beast tomorrow.

We love coming here every year! The campground is very clean and the staff is always friendly. Most all the sites have compacted gravel down and are easy to set your camper up on.

We pulled into Lakeside State Park the day after Labor Day and a very friendly attendant greeted us at the entrance. He was happy to inform us that the normal $6 vehicle fee was not in effect after Labor Day, and that the park was free. He also gave us several maps, some junior ranger badges for the kids, and a quick friendly orientation to the park. We were really pleased with the layout of the park. There is a great disc golf course that runs through the park, lots of lawn space and shade trees with plenty of grills and tables. There is also a nice trail leading down to a long beautiful shoreline. The kids had a ton of fun down there and up on the playgrounds at the top. This is exactly what we were looking for to spend some family time!
