It was a good place to spend the night and have a meal at the casino. The water and electric in site C-1 worked fine. Don’t assume that the concrete pads will be level, ours weren’t. Yes, there are many sites with the concrete pads all cracked and some were roped off for repair, but there were also plenty of ones that were OK. There doesn’t seem to be any office or on site manager or restrooms available. We registered online in advance and got lucky with our site., but some folks just showed up, picked out a sight and then called the phone number or registered online It is a nice hike to the casino, but we decided to call them and have a shuttle come pick us up and that worked well. We would stay here again if it worked out for a overnight stay

Stayed at Campgrounds and it was ok but noisy from Interstate hyway. Eat in restaurant ok nothing special. Not really gamblers.

Before staying I read the reviews and was a little nervous about staying. The location was convenient due to wanting to go to the casino. Online reservations was easy. There were a few sites that weren’t usable but you find that at any campground. Full hookups were very nice. The stay was pleasantly good! We did visit the casino (which has a van come around the campground for pickup and drop off. Casino bar and grill was terrible- would skip that and find a nicer place to eat. All that said the campground exceeded my expectations

Staff were so helpful. We stayed during a severe thunderstorm. They came to our RV and told us about the weather and offered a ride to the hotel. We ended up going to the hotel where we were asked to go to the lower level. We felt safe and cared for. After the warning was over they gave us a ride back to our RV. We love it here. We have stayed several times and look forward to coming back.

Quiet spot to stop for the night. The park “could” be quite nice, but, the facilities need to be improved and maintained. We have stayed here many times over the years and have seen the decline in the conditions in this park. The concrete has failed in many of the sites, the water, sewer, and electric hookups are starting to fail, grass is left very long, and security is nonexistent. ( I watched a person walk from the casino thru the Rv park and disappear into the woods) The price has gradually risen, as the park has deteriorated. It could be a gem, but is becoming an eyesore.

Rv pads are cracked and uneven. Corners are mud. No TV . Had beef tips on rice no garnish, no salad. Not much for $17.00 plus &65.00 for a rough rv pad.

I was disappointed many of the sites were closed due to lousy cement work all broken up. With the grounds at a slight angle and recent rain all flowed down hill to the lower sites. I was happy with the booking staff as I had asked to move up hill to site D1 from C5 which was a good idea as that night it rained and hailed

The food at the restaurant shouldn't even be served at a nursing home. It was so bad I wanted to get drunk just to finish it. Only here's the kicker, you can't get drunk or even tipsy at this place. They have oz only drinks for 7-8 a pop. AVOID this geriatric nightmare of a casino.

Large, comfortable rooms with a nice lakeside view. Nice casino. Buffet at the restaurant was great with a lot of choices. Only negative was the peeling wallpapernin the bathroom.

I had a great time! The casino was not overly crowded, the people were really friendly. The slots were some of the best I've played! I played on 5 different slots over a period of 2½hrs and did well on each one. They let you play and enjoy the experience. Best part was I left with more money than I came with! All around good experience and looking forward to going back.

You need to go into this informed. For somebody it might be wonderful, but not for me. If you want to smoke in your room, it must be great. My room came with two ash trays and a smell of stale smoke. I don’t smoke. There was massive dust behind the side tables. Otherwise, the room was clean. I went to dinner, and they have a very simple menu consisting of marginal bar food. Good enough, but not what I was expecting. The small casino gobbled up my $35 in about two minutes. The machines said one cent. Must be an Iowa thing. Again, smoke central. I’m not sensitive to smoke, but somebody that is needs to know. The resort fee is uncalled for. Breakfast isn’t included. If you’re looking for a normal casino experience or an entertaining place to stay on the road, probably not ideal. If you’re a smoker with a simple palate, and understand the arcane nature of Iowa gaming, you may like it. The RV park looked really nice though.

A lovely place! Pretty cheap for the quality and size of the room I stayed in, and every staff member I met was very polite and professional. We made a last-minute change to ask to stay an additional night, and were allowed and even got to stay in the same room! The room was spacious, and the thermostat allowed us to turn it down to 58°, which was very appreciated! We ate at the restaurant both days, the buffet the first day and the regular menu the next. The buffet was very nice; while there weren't many options, what was there was delicious. The regular menu could have had more options as well, especially as the food was the most expensive part of the trip. But both waitresses I had were very kind, and one even helped me find a better deal for my order. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and not very busy at all. I accidentally left my headphones down by the spa, and the front desk had them when I asked! I was very grateful.

RV park is full of goose droppings, our RV spot was covered with grass clippings..from the lawn mower. Restaurant stunk like cigarette smoke. We each ordered an old fashion at the bar/restaurant it was so watered down you couldn’t taste any booze.. (an old fashion is pretty much all booze.) We ordered chicken wings, chicken tenders and fries were mediocre at best and we never got the dipping sauce that we ordered even though we asked our server twice for it. Needless to say we left most of it on the table. And won’t be back anytime soon.
