Overall average koa but this one has a couple of FIXABLE issues they need to address to fill it more than the 1/3 full it was on a weekend in October and to get us to return.

The main thing is your reviews are riddled with people talking of theft and expressing a true desire for a gate system or a security guard who is there more than a few hours a night, I’ve never seen a camp ground where people feel they can not set up camp and lock up their chairs and basically anything of value when they leave for the day and at night.

If you’re not going here for Sam’s town itself be ready to drive. It’s about 25 min everywhere you’ll want to go but not in a central type of way.

Most of the place is buddy sites meaning you can be face to face with a complete group of strangers in a very tight situation (STRANGE!) so that forced us to pay for a upcharge to a end site to guarantee that didn’t happen. It said it came with the use of a table and chairs but when we arrived the chairs were ripped and completely unusable which shows that the maintenance of this place is lacking. If they can’t replace a $10 Walmart chair or just take that perk away then I’m not sure they can manage a theft issue in that city and the resolution of a real gate and not a mall cop.

Uber driver said the casino across the street is where you go get meth…. Nice area!!

First off Sandy was AWESOME!!! She’s so friendly and kind and she is the reason the review isn’t 1 star.  GIVE SANDY A RAISE!!!! SHE MORE THAN DESERVES IT!!!

For $105 a night the place is a huge ripoff.
-For $105 a night you’d expect a better security team, especially with all the methed out zombies walking around the area.
-You’d expect a nicely landscaped dog park, instead half of it was gravel and the other half was full of stickers/burrs and spent an hour getting them out of our poor puppy’s fur.
-You’d expect a paved pad to park your rig, or at the very minimum a level spot.
-you’d expect a big enough lot that would fit your rig (mine wast crazy big 38’) I had to have mine hanging over into the site behind mine just so my hitch wasn’t sticking out into the road.
-you’d expect the sites would at least have enough room for your rig, tow vehicle and some outdoor living area. Nope, very small spots.
Also whose dumb idea was it to put a bunch of spots literally right in front of the dog park?!? I feel bad for anyone who gets put there, way more noise and way less privacy than the already non existent privacy at this park..

Again, SANDY WAS THE BEST!!! Give her at least a $30/hour raise!

At $50 a night it’s probably a fair price but $105 is damn ridiculous for what you get here.

Contrary to the assertion made on KOA.com, this campground falls short of providing a truly rejuvenating haven. While it may serve as a temporary respite for overnight stays or extended vacations, its security measures are severely lacking.
The campground’s “family-friendly” marketing is contradicted by the presence of homeless individuals who roam freely, posing a significant risk to campers. Furthermore, during our three-day stay, we experienced a power outage on the first night and the theft of our electric bikes on the final day. Despite purchasing bike locks specifically to address the security concerns, these were unfortunately stolen.
It is disheartening to learn that we were not the only individuals affected by property theft at this campground. The KOA’s lack of concern and the dismissive attitude of the staff further discourage potential customers.

Very nice campground here in the Las Vegas area. The site was easy to get and out of and the restrooms and showers were nice and clean.

Great campground. Went their over Memorial Day weekend. Our trip had problems when we were coming down, so I was petty wiped out from driving. The lady checking us in was great.
The only complaint was that it was 100 plus that weekend. So, if you wanted to do something, then we did it in the morning and rested in the afternoon.
We had a buddy spot with my family, so that was good. They have two dog parks on either side of the park to let our dog do his duty.

This KOA was great for us. The location is about a 15 minute drive away from the Las Vegas strip so you will need a car to get there. Restroom and laundry was great. The pool was not really clean when we arrived but I believe they clean it everyday because it was better the next day. Also it is open until late which is great for the Las Vegas heat. The wifi worked well at our spot. Would stay here again if I visit Las Vegas with a RV.

What a great place to stay in Vegas. We spent 4 nights with our rented RV and 3 small kids. Really enjoyed the pool and the staff was so friendly and accomodating, thank you! Also easy to get to the strip by Uber/Lyft or even by bus.

Worked out really well to stay here and was very clean and maintained. Had to stay longer due to repairs, and the staff was awesome to accommodate us as we kept adding days according to our repair needs. Pool was great with hot tub. Amazon packages can be dropped at office, so you don't have to use the lockers in town. We didn't have any safety concerns, even though in the city.

Expensive RV Parking Lot. Most of the sites are buddy sites with minimum to no space between the site. It is not even possible to have a BBQ or even a table. The sites are back to back exactly like a parking lot. During the week, the camping was not more than 30 % occupancy, and they put a RV back to us most of the time (bad planning in my point of view). The pool was not heated (February) and the SPA was broken (not water jets, it was air bubbles, completely inadequate to procure a massage).
Positive: The campground is conveniently located beside a casino and bus stop to get to the strip and downtown. The people at the reception are nice and friendly.

Really nice site. All the sites are pea gravel and perfectly level. Every other site comes in from the opposite direction. This makes it so that trailer doors face each other, vs. one trailer door facing the sewer line of it's neighbor

Next to Sam's Town casino away from the strip but they do have a shuttle that will take you downtown. We booked a 70ft pull through to have room for our 40ft MH and Jeep otherwise you're cramped to park your car. These sites are probably the closest I've ever seen to one another and you share hook up's including your sewer hook up. If you want your awning out it will come close to your neighbors. They have a pool,hot tub and a nice laundry room with plenty of machines at a reasonable cost...this park is about location to Sam's Town but not much room for your outside living space. Good Sam discount,pet friendly,cable $30/night ad'l comment:  Easy in and out on Boulder Highway with a clean facilities, a pool, and just steps from the casino, which has a very good buffet.
