Lazy Acres Campground

Rustic campground with respectful,  honest owners! We're not just friends at camp, we're family!

Worst campground we have camped at so far. We camped here in early April and it was a rainy week/weekend. The site was so wet and muddy!  We had to wear boots outside and we just kept sinking in the mud. There was trash at the entrance of our site that my husband cleaned up. The water was brown and smelled like river water. We didn’t shower at all and used bottled water for everything including brushing our teeth. I was told the water was just turned back on in the bathhouse and they weren’t cleaned yet. We could still use the bathroom but not the showers if we wanted. I walked in just to check it out and there is not enough cleaning that could be done to get that bathhouse back in order. Due to the time of year we went the campground was pretty quiet but we were placed right next to a camper with a huge dog in it and he barked constantly at us and our dog through the window. Most campers there are old and look pretty beat and sketchy (if you know what I’m hinting at) so it’s not an attractive campground at all. The only positive was free WiFi. I would not recommend this campground and will never go back.

Electric water and sewer hookup for our RV was very nice. Everything worked as expected

roads are horrible, no lighting at all, no bathhouses to take a shower, someone called to complain about me speeding in the campground i was doing 7! speed limit is 5! to try to get ahold of them to book is hard as hell to get ahold of, oh u can get a cable hookup only if ur a seasonal , what kind are of bullshit is that? never again!water smells horrible like iron also

Nice and quiet campground.  Owner/manager was very nice and accommodating.

Shower and bathrooms were disgusting, water reeked of sulfur, roads were in bad shape. Would not want to camp here

If you are looking for a game room, crowded pool, campground with a restraunt and laundromat and OVER PRICED RATES.....this is not for you. If you want a reasonably priced, quite setting, friendly atmosphere, with a playground, basketball court for the kids, a social hall for Holiday Parties, Dj's, Kareoke, Bingo, special luncheons(Father's Day, Mothers day) this is the one to check out! Only thing that is a problem.....the roads NEED WORK!!! We love taking our grands to Ketstone state park...located across the road from Lazy Acres. Hikes,bike riding, fishing,  beach time, excellent playground, concession stand, pavilion rentals, all at one disposal. We love spending our weekends at Lazy Acres camp ground...hope to see you around!

I am giving this campground four stars because four stars is the average rating from everyone else.  I never actually stayed there so it would be unethical to give any other rating.   After reading all the reviews from other people I decided not to stay at Lazy Acres Campground as I was disgusted by phases other visitors used in their reviews.  These reviews included phases such as, owner was rude, passive aggressive, office open two hours a day, septic water flowing, rude, inconsiderate etc.  Basically these negative reviews made the difference between me not staying at Lazy Acres and choosing Keystone Park Campground instead.  I drove past Lazy Acres and it appears many of the RVs are parked there year round.   Yes, people really do read and follow posted reviews.

I would give them zero stars if I could, rude owner who vaguely threatened to kill my friends service dog, who is a veteran with ptsd. Also put me in a campsite with septic water flowing through it during the rain, office is only open 2 hours a day... DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE MONEY
