Oct., 2024 - 2nd visit & I love the quiet & lake views. Cleanest vault toilets I’ve found! Picnic tables, fire pit & dumpsters. No water, but met some wonderful campers!

Beautiful, peaceful place to camp. They have some sites close to others, and some more secluded sites. Water access from both ends of campground. Highly recommend.

Basic campground at Land Between the Lakes. The vault toilet was probably the cleanest I have been in, but did smell outside on the last day. Camp sites were gravel and very close together, but we got one right on the water for $10 per night. Very easy to slide the kayaks off the car and straight into the water. The water was shallow enough to walk really far out. Tons of boats came to the cove on Saturday. There was a copperhead about 10 feet from our site, it didn’t bother us but the raccoons did at night.

Literally the best place to go if you just want to float around. Good for kids too. Also, a great place to go if you have a boat as well. It's a cove off of the lake. Usually not packed. A great place to camp as well.
