Nice quite small campground. Located adjacent to the children's science museum and just across the highway from the ag museum. Older state park. But grounds are well cared for. No sewer.

Loved the trails! I only gave 4 stars because the fact I was confused about where my dog could go. I had to bring him back home and then go back to finish the trail. Had a great time with my daughter 😄

So far so good! Terrible holes on the roads in and out and the traffic from the interstate is LOUD. Our site doesn’t have a bbq pit. Friendly staff, quiet during the day oh and misquotes are HUGE and hungry. Lots of places to fish and 2 boat launches. Piers are nice and the deer are out daily.

It is rare that my beautiful bride is off on a Saturday so, we took advantage of it and rode the museum trail. Very nice bike ride, I highly recommend.

Nice shaded SP. Over half of the sites back up to the lake with excellent views. It has one washer and dryer at $2 each. Spot 15-17 are big rig friendly ( 45'). However, 17 has a low spot that accumulates water and stays wet.

Very big place. Could possibly spend the whole day and not even notice lol. My son loved it and so did I.

Ideal close to freeway and yet so peaceful. Flat concrete spots, no prob in 40ft 5th wheel. Checked in at gate although it was pretty busy (April) Birds and beautiful lake and swampy areas.

Great campground. Once you’re in the campground you’d never think you are close to town. It’s quiet and the fishing is great. The spots are nice and have 12x12 flat spots to set up chairs and tables.

Definitely worth a visit! Campground is absolutely great & the location is conveniently placed near the city. Many surrounding food options if you need, with other businesses for your personal leisure. Not expensive at all (we paid $33 for one night) that's with electric/water hookup.

Someone said there isn’t hiking in Jackson! They’re probably right. We did enjoy a great deal of walking and observing. There is a nominal fee and pretty flat trails. Unfortunately, I did not have an opportunity to check out the museum (we took an alternate entrance) but it was still an enjoyable time outdoors.
