Located at the start of the historic Stagecoach Trail, just 35 miles east of Galena, with hiking, fishing, golf courses, bike trails, and antique shops nearby, it's perfect for vacations or weekend getaways. Enjoy the heated pool with a double tube slide and the Jumbo Jumper. Play corn hole, sand volleyball, ga-ga ball, carpet ball, horseshoes, gem mining, and more. Themed weekend activities may include; ice cream socials, barrel train rides, “hey” rides, live music, movies, and much more. This campground features a wide variety of camping options, including; Deluxe Patio sites, Deluxe Cabins, Tenting, and Teepees. With a large outdoor kitchen, fire pits at every site, and Wi-Fi available throughout the park, this campground is ideal for everyone. Max pull thru: 75 feet. Your hosts: the Long family.

One of the best campgrounds I've stayed at. I highly recommend this place for a community feel. The grounds were packed, celebrating seasonally, campers moving between sites as best camping friends. It was a lovely weekend away.

The campground is well taken care of. Very clean, with long sites for bigger campers. Patty was very nice and we enjoyed talking with her. It's a shame we were not able to stay more than one night.

Just wrapped up a 3-day stay at the Lena KOA and it was a great little getaway. The cabin we stayed in was spotless, and the air conditioning kept things perfectly cool even in the August heat. The pool was a definite highlight—clean, fun, and a great way to relax. The campground had a quiet, peaceful atmosphere, with nicely maintained landscaping that added to the charm. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There’s not much to do in the surrounding area, but if you’re looking for a relaxing break in a clean, well-run campground, this is a solid choice.

From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and made check-in a breeze. The cabin was spotless, charming, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay—comfy beds, a well-stocked kitchenette, and even a cute porch to enjoy the serene surroundings. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, from the sparkling pool to the fun game room for the kids. The peaceful, wooded setting gave us the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, with nearby trails and attractions just a short drive away. The entire experience felt like a home away from home, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit to Lena KOA Holiday!
