Park is clean and well maintained by the men who drive golf carts. The ladies in the office are all nice except one, I guess shes a manager, but she's so rude! She lives in the park in a tan camper, although she never gave me her name. I would highly recommend avoiding her at all costs! If she's in the office, come back later! Also very annoying that they tried to move us around in the park after we stayed a month there. With over 200 sites and more than half of them open at all times; there was absolutely no reason for that! Not to mention no one came to the site we moved from although that was the "reason" we had to move. We ended up leaving completely after being discriminated against because we are young adults living full time in our camper. The manager just want to make the koa a retirement home at this point. The pool is nice but having screaming children around is not! I recommend having adult only evening hours to help with this problem.

So cool! Had a last min stop and had a blast. The animals are awesome. The water park rocks and the gift shop is super cute. Must try if you're in the area. Highly recommend

We camped at the West Palm Beach KOA in early April. We found it super convenient that it is right next door to the Lion Country Safari. We had a great time doing the safari and the water park after. Once back at the KOA, we enjoyed a refreshing swim in their large clean pool with beautiful surroundings.

Very happy with the camping experience here at West Palm Beach / Lion Country Safari KOA Journey. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Well stocked campstore (although closes at 5pm M-F). Nice pool. Very clean facilities. Very close to beaches, stores and dining. To note: they do not allow open camp fires. It is very cool to hear the lions and chimps as you are riught next to the safari.

Great KOA, attached to the lion country safari. One of our favorite and regular campsites. We have made multiple trips to this KOA, nice sites and amenities, great staff. This was originally our test voyage campsite when we bought our camper a few years back. It’s just far enough out but still near anything you may need. Our last trip there we skipped the safari, since we have done it like 5 times , instead we drove up to Lake Okeechobee, to do some site seeing. Nice camp site , well kept and you can hear the lions and Monkeys from your campsite.
