Overall, our experience was excellent. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made our stay enjoyable. We did encounter one issue with the electrical hookup-specifically, the power at the box had reverse polarity, which prevented me from connecting until it was repaired. Fortunately, the maintenance crew arrived within minutes and resolved the issue quickly, minimizing any delay. It’s important to note that connecting to a power source with reverse polarity could have posed a serious fire hazard. I hope the park staff is investigating how the 30-amp plug was installed incorrectly, with reversed wiring and an upside-down orientation, to prevent similar issues in the future.

We enjoyed our Halloween weekend at Yogi Bear Jelly Stone. Love that it’s so close to home. The cabin was clean. The beds were comfortable. The top bunk was really hard to get into though.

Place is great for kids all ages. My teens had a blast. We purchased day passes and spent about 5hrs— it could have been more but mama was tired. ;) Staff was nice and welcoming. The guys at the inflatable area were my favorite; very kind, respectful, and engaging with the kids. I love that we can bring food, snacks, chairs, etc. It makes for an affordable getaway, close to home. We have an RV and are considering booking a weekend spot in Oct when weather is a little more forgiving. Attractions/amenities are well kept and campgrounds feel overall safe. One strong recommendation is shade. This place is in desperate NEED of more shaded areas throughout. There are lots of clearances that could easily have gazebos of some sort. They just opened and I think park has potential, hence, we will definitely support again; that being said, please consider our skin sensitive population.

Had a great time at Jelly Stone! This park has lots of potential. We rented an RV spot and spent 5 days with our grandchildren. The park has one slide along with several pools. This is where some upgrades could be done. Creating an actual water park would make this a must go to destination. Also shade is a must at the pool. During this trip there was only one pool umbrella that worked. The rest were broken. Because we live nearby, we brought an umbrella from home. The biggest attraction that they have is the floating obstacle course in the pond. Our grandchildren had a blast on that. We will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Jellystone Park™ Lake Charles! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and everything was so clean and well-maintained. The amenities were top-notch — the water attractions, themed activities, and family-friendly events kept our kids entertained from sunrise to sunset. Yogi Bear™ and friends were a huge hit, and the atmosphere was safe, relaxing, and full of fun. Whether you’re RV camping, staying in a cabin, or just visiting for the day, this park delivers the perfect mix of adventure and comfort. We can’t wait to come back!
