Overall, our experience was excellent. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made our stay enjoyable. We did encounter one issue with the electrical hookup-specifically, the power at the box had reverse polarity, which prevented me from connecting until it was repaired. Fortunately, the maintenance crew arrived within minutes and resolved the issue quickly, minimizing any delay. It’s important to note that connecting to a power source with reverse polarity could have posed a serious fire hazard. I hope the park staff is investigating how the 30-amp plug was installed incorrectly, with reversed wiring and an upside-down orientation, to prevent similar issues in the future.

We enjoyed our Halloween weekend at Yogi Bear Jelly Stone. Love that it’s so close to home. The cabin was clean. The beds were comfortable. The top bunk was really hard to get into though.

Place is great for kids all ages. My teens had a blast. We purchased day passes and spent about 5hrs— it could have been more but mama was tired. ;) Staff was nice and welcoming. The guys at the inflatable area were my favorite; very kind, respectful, and engaging with the kids. I love that we can bring food, snacks, chairs, etc. It makes for an affordable getaway, close to home. We have an RV and are considering booking a weekend spot in Oct when weather is a little more forgiving. Attractions/amenities are well kept and campgrounds feel overall safe. One strong recommendation is shade. This place is in desperate NEED of more shaded areas throughout. There are lots of clearances that could easily have gazebos of some sort. They just opened and I think park has potential, hence, we will definitely support again; that being said, please consider our skin sensitive population.

Had a great time at Jelly Stone! This park has lots of potential. We rented an RV spot and spent 5 days with our grandchildren. The park has one slide along with several pools. This is where some upgrades could be done. Creating an actual water park would make this a must go to destination. Also shade is a must at the pool. During this trip there was only one pool umbrella that worked. The rest were broken. Because we live nearby, we brought an umbrella from home. The biggest attraction that they have is the floating obstacle course in the pond. Our grandchildren had a blast on that. We will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Jellystone Park™ Lake Charles! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and everything was so clean and well-maintained. The amenities were top-notch — the water attractions, themed activities, and family-friendly events kept our kids entertained from sunrise to sunset. Yogi Bear™ and friends were a huge hit, and the atmosphere was safe, relaxing, and full of fun. Whether you’re RV camping, staying in a cabin, or just visiting for the day, this park delivers the perfect mix of adventure and comfort. We can’t wait to come back!

This park has a special place in my heart. This amazing RV park has tons of amenities for my kids, stunning natural beauty, and is so easy to get to off the highway. The new team running this park is also putting in a bunch of new features, adding a recreational program, and bringing music back to this incredible space. Can't wait to come back for years to come!

Drove through the park today and WOW—everything looks absolutely beautiful! I had to stop by the front office right away to book one of their cabins. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back with the family and make some great memories!

This is not a park. It is disgusting and lots of crime. When checked in we only got a receipt, no map or information of the so called park. We were the only travelers, the rest were permanent residents. Trash all over the park. It looks like it use to be a beautiful park at one time. But couldn't wait to get out. It should have been a clue when nobody else was staying there. It was 50.00 a night which is ridiculous, especially for nothing. Don't stay at this park.

This place should be shut down. It's trashed, not taken care of,drug infested, nothing but trash. Police there almost every day. Over priced. No pride at this park. It was nice at one point but the owners now don't care. They found a body just last weekend. Would you want to live there? If there is any other place to park a camper and there is, go there. Why is this. Place still open? There is a better place Jean Lafitte just minutes on 397

Stayed in a cabin for the weekend back in 2009.It was really nice and a lot of fun and things to do. Staying here right now with no internet or WiFi so no tv. This place is a DUMP now loud music loud vehicles kids flying up and down the street on four wheelers. I am working in town and wanted to stay here. Checked in on Monday wanted to check out on Tuesday but they already charged my card. If I could give it less than one star I would. I WILL NOT BE BACK!Again. Don’t waste your time on this DUMP

I’m not really one to do reviews but I feel like I must on this park. This park looks nice at the office. Nice ponds with ducks & geese. Cute little cabins. Once you pass the office to go to the lot you’ve rented your in for an awakening. Very Filthy. Trash everywhere’s, old mattress, it’s just very disgusting & for the owners to allow this park to look the way it does is a shame. They don’t care how the park looks as long as their making money. In fact we was there for almost 2weeks & I never once seen them trying to cleanup anything, the only reason we stayed as long as we did is because they do not issue Refunds & you don’t see how the park looks until after u get to where your spot is, we actually left with still having 2 weeks left to stay. Ridiculous is an understatement. This is not a family oriented park by no means. We wouldn’t let our kids stay with us. Very sad. They do not ck the Rvs that comes & goes the only information they collect is the length. Yesterday they had a big arrest due to campers being stolen & was parked at this park. Campers, 4wheelers, vehicles & all kinds of other stuff that tenants had at this park that was stolen. That was a rap for us. We moved. There is no security whatsoever. This whole place is very disgusting!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NOBODY!! We travel due to working & this has been one of the worst parks that we have ever stayed in.

The entrance area to the campground is actually really decent and pretty looking. The ponds are beautiful looking and lots of ducks and geese. But the park is trashed! around our spot there was all kinds garbage and junk. There is a playground that has a slide that looks like it will fall with everyone that slides down. The pictures are beautiful but it’s definitely a catfish Would not recommend!
