Avoid the Little Rock North KOA!!! We faced harassment from the employees, verbal and physical abuse, who were rude and aggressive in front of our minor son. While trying to hook up our jeep the staff yelled and cursed at us insisting it was against the rules, see attached photo below though this isn’t mentioned in their materials. Our camping spot was too tight to exit easily so we needed to unhook and follow my husband to the exit to reconnect the jeep safely .They were insisted to hook up on a public road, which where we would be unsafe! Even the manager she was yelling and cursing at us, despite our assurance that it would only take 2 minutes and we told them we will move if there’s vehicle behind us. During that time nobody came! We just wanted to hook up our vehicle safely, but the employees were rude and unhelpful and continue to curse at us. Attached the photo of the map/rules and one of the staff who attacked us. The manager who refused to give her name although asked repeatedly. We left the park and pray for them and will never return to this KOA. Wow!!! We have never experienced treatment like this at the KOA. As we have stayed in maybe a hundred and we were always allowed to hook up safely in the park.

We only stayed one night. We booked one site…a pull through that was plenty large enough to accommodate our 30’ Class C and our Subaru with a small enclosed trailer. The staff made us pay for a second site for the car and trailer. We had a good 8 feet in front and 10 feet behind our rig. They said that we couldn’t fit everything in one site but that was NOT true. There was a huge Class A on one side and a huge 5th wheel on the other. Both of those along with their trucks was longer than all 3 of ours!!! This place likes to up charge people. The park is sad and needs to be cleaned up. We won’t be back!!! Oh and there’s the highway sounds all night and construction during the day. Definitely don’t recommend!!!

I highly recommend Journey KOA, whether you need a overnight spot, or like me needed a spot for extended stay. The staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, they were extremely nice, kind and helpful. The camp sites are very well maintained. The showers were very clean and the facilities were nice. If I ever find myself in Little Rock for an extended period, this is where I will stay. Also this KOA is close to Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock. Best Regards Steve.

This is a nice KOA. It is old and really in need of some TLC. Everything was neat and clean, just tired. Site was level and utilities were good. We had a level concrete pad. Lot of dog poop stations. Asphalt roads and concrete pads. Near interstate (all good RV parks are) so some road noise but not bad. We had friendly encounters with staff. All-in-all a nice, older, in need of updates KOA. WiFi was not so good. And ATT and Verizon cell coverage was 2 bars.

I must give KOAs kudos for their exceptional parks. They are very clean with nice amenities. The North Little Rock was no exception. Larry and his wife were warm and friendly at check-in. Larry goes the extra mile and guides you to you spot. If you travel with dogs, as we do, the pet areas were clean and tidy. We will definitely stay there again when our travels bring us that way again.

I drove in to this KOA on one of my last days of a 2 month trip. I had just spent the last several hours driving from Oklahoma City, through the absolutely beautiful Ouachita Mountains, down through Hot Springs and over to this Little Rock KOA. When I entered the park I was happy to see green grass and a well kept park. I had reserved a tent site (the only tent site in the park) for my jeep and rooftop tent. Check in was friendly with no problems, the gentleman led me to my tent site and that's where it got ugly. Literally, this tent site was in the very back of the park, I mean THE VERY BACK (END) OF THE PARK, smooshed in next to the dog park in the darkest dank corner you could imagine. I was literally in shock. I've stayed at many a KOA and never have the tent sites been so gloomy dark and sad. I sat for a moment and thought, well, I'll just make the best of it. I left the park to get some groceries and came back...still upset I thought I'd just ask if there was somewhere else they could put me; I was more than willing to pay extra if it meant I could get a better site location. At first, the gentleman told me that ALL sites were booked and there wasn't anything they could do for me. I sucked it up and drove back to the area literally in tears trying to figure out where I was going to set up camp, trying to back in squeezing my jeep between the trees. A few seconds later the gentleman drove up to me, sitting in my jeep (still crying), and he said they had an alternative site after all and to follow him. I was so relieved and so happy, the site was 1000x's better. So I appreciate their fitting me in a nicer site, closer to the rest of the patrons and the restrooms as well, as I was also dealing with a hurt knee. I would encourage the owners and operators of the park to maybe spruce up the tent area to make it more appealing to travelers who may be interested in a tent site, especially after a long day of travel...as it is, it is not a "pretty site". But I thank them again for upgrading my accommodations and making me a happy camper once more. Other than the tent site, the rest of the park is well maintained, the restrooms are nice (the music in the restrooms is a little loud and could be turned down a few notches) but overall, the park is sufficient for a nights stay on your travels.

We aren't very happy! We just got here and we have a stream running right in front of our front door! There are other places that would have been lots better with no streams. We won't be back that's for sure!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Clean and neat! Friendly and cheerful staff checking with us to make sure we LOVED our spot. They noticed it was not level and that we were close to a tree, so she directed us to a more appropriate space. Wow! Everything is just like the pictures! We came in after a rain and no mud holes! That’s good planning. Bathrooms are spacious and very clean. There’s even a hair dryer in the ladies room! This is a green, shady, happy place. A little road noise, but the birdsong more than makes up for that. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Did not even stay, walked out. The lady wanted 50 dollars for me to park my car for a few hours

The staff was friendly. They had a nice store, but we wished they had a few more local souvenirs (magnets/stickers). The shower/bathroom area was one of the nicest we have seen. One thing we really enjoyed was that they had K-LOVE playing in through the speakers into the bathrooms the morning we were getting ready to leave. Very encouraging music and message.
