We love this place, the management and staff are very nice and helpful. We rented a lot about for the summer season about 5 years ago. We loved it so much there the next spring we found the perfect spot in the park and purchased a lease. We feel it's safe and secure, gated community with video surveillance 24/7.

Horrible management and full timers are just as rude.

My family decided to take our 16-year-old grandson here to celebrate his 16th birthday and from the moment we arrived we had nothing but problems. My first hint that this was a shady place was when I checked in, they wrote down all my credit card information instead of processing it at the time of check-in. My daughter was in C9 and I was in C2, both of which were between two full time residents. When I arrived and was setting up at C2, the property employees were cutting down a tree across the street at C9 where my daughter and her family were staying. She simply asked if they were going to be through before her husband got there to set up and the rude young guy (the onsite property manger's son) told her what he was doing was none of her business! We tried to move past that and let it go, but his mother ( the onsite property manager) and her boyfriend wouldn't let it go. In total we had five sites rented, two of which were considering leasing sites full time. Not now! They're in lies the problem, most of the sites are full timers and if you get sideways for any reason, they all vote to kick you out. My daughter and I rented our sites (C2 and C9) for five nights and we both were asked to leave after the second night! The onsite management called the police to have us removed and the police said they could not make us leave at 11:00 PM at night. But the next morning the onsite managers boyfriend came to our sites and told us we had 10 minutes to get our stuff packed then he was turning off the power and locking it out. Needless to say, we packed up and left. Word to the wise, never book and stay at a privately owned campground because if you even ask a question, or God forbid have a problem, they can turn your power off and leave you high and dry. The police said they could not make us leave but they could not make them turn the power back on either. My daughter and I both lost two nights that we paid for but they will not refund our money... Not worried about the money but I am concerned about my grandkids and their parents having to load up and get ready to leave without power! Do not stay here or you might find yourself without power and having to leave with no good reason!

If they put you between 2 full timers, you will have problems. They're used to having all that room. They will call the police on you. Don't go here, you may have to pack up and leave at any time. So disappointed in the management

Could be a very nice place if it wasn’t for the rude, unprofessional management staff. I have seen numerous complaints about the manager going back years, so I don’t see this improving. As long as you don’t ask a question, or God forbid, have a complaint or issue, you might get out without being threatened. The full time residents and the manager make you feel like you are in back woods of Deliverance.

Feels like home. Great play area for kids. Access to lake for boats with slips. Well taken care of property. Very kid friendly establishment. Very friendly staff and neighbors. We keep a place here year round.

I booked a campsite about a 8 days prior to my intended stay. I was asked for a credit card number to hold my reservation with the understanding that they were not charging me until arrival. However, they charged my card in advance. I called to cancel several days before my projected arrival date because rain is in the forecast. I asked for a refund and they refused. They mentioned a 10 day cancellation policy if you are booked on a holiday. I never gave them permission to charge my card and I couldn’t give a 10 day cancellation notice because I only scheduled 8 days prior to my intended date of arrival. I told them all of this but they still refused.

They make absolutely no exceptions if you work. They strictly cater to the ones that live and buy property there. You will not get a deposit back, they will make sure you have to pay your deposit plus extra. I am so glad we were only there a short time. I have never been as dissatisfied with any campground and in our past 26 years of working on the road and staying at different campgrounds all over the southern states, this is only the 2nd time I have felt like I needed to leave a negative review. It is crowded and over priced, for the campground. The people that have left good reviews must obviously live there or be related to someone. The 5 mph speed limit is strictly enforced unless you work there, the guys that work there and drive the golf carts around literally fly. I respect all rules at every campground but rules should apply to all people staying at the campground. If you can stay somewhere else, you definitely should. It's obvious the owner is never on site or he would notice the sketchy people who hang around.

Wooded and spacious. Nothing fancy but quiet and has good water access and new boat skips. Full hookups. Helps to have a golf cart for moving around. Clubhouse/kitchen/pool is nice. Bathrooms need improvement.

Bath house is very out dated. Like a 1970 high school gym locker room. No wifi and cell phone kinda works. 12 miles to any real food and any shopping. Free fishing and paddel boats in pond . boats are not in very good shape and life jackets have never ben cleaned so bring your own. Ther is no dog area.
