Love this place, the staff was awesome and helpful with every request. Will stay here every time I am nearby for work.

We have been to this location several times with our family. We like it because It’s close to home for a quick getaway. We reserved a campsite and there was some type of issue with our reservation site , but they accommodated us and it all worked out. We were out there celebrating my husbands birthday 🎉. They have a new system which I think will be helpful in the future. We will definitely be comping back. It’s a great local getaway! It has bbq’s , a pool, bathrooms, showers & the little store has a good selection. I’ve seen many reviews that bash them saying it’s all dirt, you’re camping what do you expect !

We were only going to stay a short while, however we enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to extend our stay! Denise, Sabrina, and Donna are awesome... they work in the offices and i can honestly say that they are a huge reason why we have loved camping here so much😀 Keep up there good work, you guys could teach the world a little something about customer service for sure.

Not the worse KOA, that is still Tacoma.. This KOA is pretty much a dirt lot.. Place feels like it was nice at one point, but is now falling apart. Needs some upkeep, repairs and a sense of pride. Playground falling apart, hot tub is not hot, dumpsters over flowing with trash, water slide never happened. Common area is just a tent city. Pictures on the website are from a time when this place was probably new. Now they just deceive. Won't be back

Stayed 3 nights in a tent site, with no hookups. Pool & playground really kept our youngest occupied. Appreciated being able to use a propane camp stove, which was not allowed at any other campground in the area. Don't expect cell service you'd be lucky. We didn't mind we were trying to unplug. There was wifi a little spotty as expected, but our tent site had adequate wifi for the kids to stream movies at night. Don't expect water or grass because it's California desert. The train might be an issue for some it did wake us, but not a big deal we were able to fall back asleep. Our daughter slept through everything & loved the trains that passed during the day, so a bonus for train enthusiasts. Staff was friendly & we found the store very convenient. It was hot & having access to ice, ice cream treats & cold drinks was really awesome! There are quiet hrs after 10pm however my husband & I stayed outside our tent talking quietly looking at the stars very late & security definitely drove by kept an eye out, but never bothered us. If we were ever trying to camp in the area again this is the only place we can cook at so we'd definitely stay again.
