I arrived after 8pm for a quick 12 hour overnight. The owners were there & wrote down my credit card information, assigned me a spot (I did not get to choose the spot) & told me to meet them at 8am when the store opens to process my payment. Store was not open @ 8am despite the sign & owners stating it would be open. I had to leave by 8, but I stayed until 8:40am hoping to complete my payment. No one showed up so I left a voice message for the owner to call me. Ashton (employee) called me, & I authorized the $75 payment over the phone. To my surprise, the next day I noticed an unauthorized additional (separate) charge on my credit card of $45. They kept my card # & charged additional funds without my authorization!!! Subsequently I had 4 other random high dollar charges to online stores. Luckily my American Express stopped the charges as FRAUD!!!!!!! The $45 was also verified as unauthorized & stopped by AMX. Other than FRAUD, the grounds & facilities are dirty, unkept & has electrical problems. Thereās a train that ran multiple times through the night which kept waking me up. There is NO CELL SIGNAL at this site! They have WiFi, which worked for me but the owner warned me āit might not workā. Needless to say, do not stay here! Iād rather stay at a WalMart parking lot. ***ETA reply to your reply. LA RV Resort: Several false statements you made below! The OWNERS were the people who checked me in! You know that. Red flag was that the owners (drive a BMW) were talking to a Sherriff/police officer when I pulled in. The credit card company has completed their investigation & closed it as I stated above. The charges were reversed & you were not paid more than $75. To be clear, fact is I spoke w Ashton & Charlotte in the morning who I gave authorization to charge $75 for the spot. The additional $45 was NOT authorized by me & run through sometime after I got off the phoneāproven by CC company AND you admitted in writing below you charged it AFTER the phone call! lol. Only way you could have done that is if you wrote down all my cc information & kept it! Which explains the hundred of dollars of fraud charges in the days following. I called as soon as I saw the unauthorized $45, & Ashton told me that shouldnāt have happened & sheād talk to the owner & call me back. She never called me back. I did speak w the security guard that night, but only because he stopped by to make sure my electricity was working because there was a power issue w your bathroom facilities. Security guard didnāt say anything about RV spot feesājust told me to talk to the āgirls in the morningā. You just made things a whole lot worseāoutright lying! Lol. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Cost was $120. For one night. No cell svc. Their WiFi would not connect. Flies were terrible. Ants were terrible. Dogs barking was my only enjoyment. As a working general contractor this place would be impossible to manage your work from. Oh and the place needs to complete what ever maintenance they are doing. Looks like a war zone.

A great place to stop as a thru hiker! Very accessible from trail. They have a great selection of food and drinks at a good price. Got a bunk to share with 6 people for $35 including shower. Laundry was cheap and easy too. Thank you!

Came here as a PCT hiker. While it was a good break from the sun, the prices charged are an absolute rip off. The camping options are horrible, and it is clear this business is capitalizing off of hikers needing a break from the sun. The staff was friendly and that is the only reason this review is not one star.

I recently stayed for 3 nights. I dealt with Charlotte to begin with, and Ashton in the office, everyone I had contact with was more than helpful with anything I needed. It was quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend staying here even if you just have one night. I am anxious to go back. Thank you everyone at LA RV for a pleasant stay.

Stayed here for one night in an RV. Mike the security guard was very friendly and a really nice guy. Unfortunately the bathrooms were extremely disappointing, faeces on the toilet seat, no lock on the other door, no soap in the dispenser and no working hand drier, No lights in the showers so had to shower via iPhone torch. We were told there were nicer bathrooms further down the yard however they were locked due to āvaldalismā. Also there is no phone signal at all and the WiFi was terrible. Nice location though

Was out on a trail run from Vasquez Rocks over to Soledad Canyon Road. Stopped by LA RV Resort for some water and found they had a nice little store . I didnāt have any cash so Charlotte aloud me to PayPal her some funds so I could get a Coke, Gatorade and snacks for the run back to Vasquez Rocks. Very friendly and accommodating for camp guests, trail runners or PCT hikers ⦠5 stars āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø

Absolutely love this place. Iāve been staying here frequently over the last 9 months. LISA is the best and always so helpful and informative and she always makes me feel at home! Other tenants in the park, whether short term or long term are also very friendly and easy going. My son loves the park and playing with old friends and making new ones! They have movie nights on a projector by the front building weekly. They will sell popcorn, snores, candy, etc. LISA always takes care of all the kids! They just love her. My son sometimes goes up to the office just to hang with her! š The security Josh goes above and beyond for the park and its tenants, that makes us all feel safer. Recently unfortunately there was a trailer fire and Josh became the trailer park hero by risking his life and his health (with his asthma) for the parksā tenants and to help keep the fire from spreading until the fire fighters arrived 20 minutes later. He is a real one!!! My dog loves the dog park and the creek that runs through the campground. My only real complaint would be to fix the jacuzzi heater so itās finally able to be put to use, maybe fix the lights in the gazebo cause I never see them working and for LISA to get a raise or a plaque on the wall cause man that lady sure works hard and deserves it!

This place is beautiful for camping and very safe area. Great outdoors. We took our kidās church and I can say for sure that this camping trip was the most rewarding of all my outdoor experiences. Also, thank you to Joshua and Lisa to facilitate our stay pleasant, memorable and appreciable. We were explained all the benefits and accommodations of this campsite. On Saturday, we had a movie time with our kids that was unforgettable experience! Thank you for a great such customer service!

We have been to this location several times with our family. We like it because Itās close to home for a quick getaway. We reserved a campsite and there was some type of issue with our reservation site , but they accommodated us and it all worked out. We were out there celebrating my husbands birthday š. They have a new system which I think will be helpful in the future. We will definitely be comping back. Itās a great local getaway! It has bbqās , a pool, bathrooms, showers & the little store has a good selection. Iāve seen many reviews that bash them saying itās all dirt, youāre camping what do you expect !

We were only going to stay a short while, however we enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to extend our stay! Denise, Sabrina, and Donna are awesome... they work in the offices and i can honestly say that they are a huge reason why we have loved camping here so muchš Keep up there good work, you guys could teach the world a little something about customer service for sure.

Not the worse KOA, that is still Tacoma.. This KOA is pretty much a dirt lot.. Place feels like it was nice at one point, but is now falling apart. Needs some upkeep, repairs and a sense of pride. Playground falling apart, hot tub is not hot, dumpsters over flowing with trash, water slide never happened. Common area is just a tent city. Pictures on the website are from a time when this place was probably new. Now they just deceive. Won't be back

Stayed 3 nights in a tent site, with no hookups. Pool & playground really kept our youngest occupied. Appreciated being able to use a propane camp stove, which was not allowed at any other campground in the area. Don't expect cell service you'd be lucky. We didn't mind we were trying to unplug. There was wifi a little spotty as expected, but our tent site had adequate wifi for the kids to stream movies at night. Don't expect water or grass because it's California desert. The train might be an issue for some it did wake us, but not a big deal we were able to fall back asleep. Our daughter slept through everything & loved the trains that passed during the day, so a bonus for train enthusiasts. Staff was friendly & we found the store very convenient. It was hot & having access to ice, ice cream treats & cold drinks was really awesome! There are quiet hrs after 10pm however my husband & I stayed outside our tent talking quietly looking at the stars very late & security definitely drove by kept an eye out, but never bothered us. If we were ever trying to camp in the area again this is the only place we can cook at so we'd definitely stay again.
