Lost Hills RV Park in Lost Hills, CA | Clean I-5 Stopover

65 dollars is a lot for a rv site without wifi if I had driven just another 60 minutes to Bakersfield it would have paid 39 dollars and I would have had wifi. Otherwise the park appears to be clean.

Edit: we got stuck here for a week. These people are the nicest people you will ever meet they helped us in more ways then they needed to. Oh yeah if you are desperate for wifi Pilot wifi works at this rv site. Also very nice people

Unkempt and dirty. Garbage laying around and no staff clean up. Extension cord running through out site going into a drain??? They even have some RVs sitting with tarps on their leaky roofs.
We won't go back.

We needed a place with hook ups and propane for our virgin voyage with the new-to-us travel trailer. The staff were super helpful when we needed a refill of propane or when I had other questions. The restrooms were clean and easy to access. The little dog park was perfect to let my furry friends get some off-leash time.

We don't have kids but that playground was so nostalgic! I haven't seen a slide like that since I was probably 11 or so.

Location was good overall, although a little noisy because there are so many truck stops right at that exit. Lots of food options and Walmart was a short drive down the road to grab some other essentials.

Would definitely stay here again if passing through.

Lost Hills KOA is definitely more of a pit stop than a vacation destination. It's conveniently located right off the freeway, making it an easy overnight stop if you're traveling through California. The staff is friendly and the sites are straightforward, but there isn't much in the way of scenery or activities. You'll find the basics-full hookups, a pool, and a small store—but it's not the kind of place you'd plan to spend several days relaxing. Perfect for a quick rest and recharge on a road trip, but not really a campground for a long stay.

I stopped overnight and was able to settle comfortably before taking the dogs for a walk. Easy access to freeway and other amenities.

Screw this place. The people next to us were up all night shinning their headlights into our trailer, turning their truck on and off and yelling and talking loudly until 5:30am. I swear they didn’t take a single breath, they just talked and talked and talked right outside our window. No accountability. Hoping I never have to come back to this place again

We had an emergency- AC went out and we were traveling with pets we needed an emergency spot to land for the rest of day. Marisol was kind fast and helpful. She even brought us ice water and let our poor dog lay on the cool tile floor in the office. Beyond that the pool was clean as well as the showers and restrooms. Not fancy but well run and nice flat spaces for the RV. Thank you for helping us save our dog. 🩷

The staff needs some training on customer service, not friendly or helpful at all. Sewer was backing up at our site, the girl at the front desk didn't even know what a sewer was. The guy who could supposedly fix it acted like we were an inconvenience,  and never showed up to look at it.
I did like the eucalyptus trees, not much else.

We overnight here and greeted by Ruben.  Easy check in and he made us feel welcomed right away.  Large level spot near the back with good water pressure.

This is our first time here and I think this is a good overnight option on I5 on way to LA.

Very quiet at night.  I read a previous review of strong odor but didn’t smell any.  At the time we went in August there were no flies or anything either.  We think it’s a great overnight option for this last stretch on I5 before LA and will stay again.

Next morning Ruben came over to help us with our slide top awning; he graciously helped us for 45mins in the August heat and loaned us his ladder and tools to make the repair. Thanks very much Ruben we appreciate you so much!

There is an Indian food truck right near the office. I give that 5 stars! It was nice to be able to get dinner right there on the premises.  The food truck is open at 9am, so we went back and got another meal for the road.
We stop here every year. It's quiet. The showers are dated,  but the water is nice and warm with good water pressure.
I love to visit the goats that live alongside the property.
Lost Hills KOA is always a pleasant stop for us.

We stayed last night, I am so impressed with the improvements. Excellent work is being done at this park. We have been stopping here for years and can honestly say we are looking forward to the next time we stay. Office staff is excellent. Keep up the great work.

We always dump our rv here after hunting and dry camping always so nice and welcoming
