Sites are pretty tight, but the employee helped us get parked. Clean restrooms, groceries, propane, gas and diesel all on site. Good spot to HQ from for Bourbon Trail visits.

We pulled in for one night. It was okay for that. But the spaces were very tight. With slides open, it was hard to get between campers. The bathroom was surprisingly clean. The staff eas friendly and helpful. However, the store on site where you check in and out was gross. Not because it was dirty, necessarily, but because there were several large cats living in and roaming the store. I went in just to get the bathroom key and was nauseated by the overwhelming smell of cats and litter. My son couldn't enter because of severe cat allergies. Considering they sell food in there, I don't understand how that's even permitted. In a pinch, we may do a one nighter there again, but I would try to plan not to.

Pulled in for short stay. Was put in a pull through spot that wasn’t even large enough to extend our slides. Train is in back of a grove of trees and is very loud. Cats and there smell are in the store. This morning we seen a squirrel spread out on top of the picnic table which is very dirty. This is not a good place for camping travelers. Will not be back.

We travel for business and have stayed at many places and I would pass this campground and move forward. I do have to thank them for getting us in as we started our job the same time the Kentucky Derby was going on. However when we arrived we took a dog panel up to the office and asked if we could put these right out the front door and we do not leave our pups outside along. This was allowed, thank you. However the next day I went to the office and asked if they could check the neighbors propane as I can smell it and I was not able to open my windows because of the smell. I was told it’s checked often and it’s not leaking, after a couple more days I went back to the office and asked if we could move because the propane smell is giving me headaches and I was told there would not be anything available till June 1st to come back then, now this was after the derby and the park was half empty. There was not even enough room to put out our lounge chairs which with the smell it wasn’t very enticing to sit outside. There is no dog park, and the dog walk, well there is a sign there. They have a cat house and cats are free to roam and it smells. They also feed the squirrels and there are droppings everywhere, don’t get me wrong I love animals but if you are running a campground you should be considerate of your campers that are renting from you. If you need a spot for the night it’s fine but if you are looking to enjoy you stay I’d look for something else. I have pictures to post but it seems as though this function is not available.

This campground was is packed tight and is priced high for what you get. I have a Class A with 4 slides. Last night with my slides open and the neighboring Class A’s slides open there wasn’t enough room to walk between the RVs. Staff is nice and friendly, however cats roam freely in the general store and the smell of cat is very potent & that’s coming from someone living with a cat. If you need a place to stay and have no other options this is your place. Also literally on the train line so expect trains at all times including the middle of the night. The upside is your close to town, but other options would be suggested
