Sites are pretty tight, but the employee helped us get parked. Clean restrooms, groceries, propane, gas and diesel all on site. Good spot to HQ from for Bourbon Trail visits.

We pulled in for one night. It was okay for that. But the spaces were very tight. With slides open, it was hard to get between campers. The bathroom was surprisingly clean. The staff eas friendly and helpful. However, the store on site where you check in and out was gross. Not because it was dirty, necessarily, but because there were several large cats living in and roaming the store. I went in just to get the bathroom key and was nauseated by the overwhelming smell of cats and litter. My son couldn't enter because of severe cat allergies. Considering they sell food in there, I don't understand how that's even permitted. In a pinch, we may do a one nighter there again, but I would try to plan not to.

Pulled in for short stay. Was put in a pull through spot that wasn’t even large enough to extend our slides. Train is in back of a grove of trees and is very loud. Cats and there smell are in the store. This morning we seen a squirrel spread out on top of the picnic table which is very dirty. This is not a good place for camping travelers. Will not be back.

We travel for business and have stayed at many places and I would pass this campground and move forward. I do have to thank them for getting us in as we started our job the same time the Kentucky Derby was going on. However when we arrived we took a dog panel up to the office and asked if we could put these right out the front door and we do not leave our pups outside along. This was allowed, thank you. However the next day I went to the office and asked if they could check the neighbors propane as I can smell it and I was not able to open my windows because of the smell. I was told it’s checked often and it’s not leaking, after a couple more days I went back to the office and asked if we could move because the propane smell is giving me headaches and I was told there would not be anything available till June 1st to come back then, now this was after the derby and the park was half empty. There was not even enough room to put out our lounge chairs which with the smell it wasn’t very enticing to sit outside. There is no dog park, and the dog walk, well there is a sign there. They have a cat house and cats are free to roam and it smells. They also feed the squirrels and there are droppings everywhere, don’t get me wrong I love animals but if you are running a campground you should be considerate of your campers that are renting from you. If you need a spot for the night it’s fine but if you are looking to enjoy you stay I’d look for something else. I have pictures to post but it seems as though this function is not available.

This campground was is packed tight and is priced high for what you get. I have a Class A with 4 slides. Last night with my slides open and the neighboring Class A’s slides open there wasn’t enough room to walk between the RVs. Staff is nice and friendly, however cats roam freely in the general store and the smell of cat is very potent & that’s coming from someone living with a cat. If you need a place to stay and have no other options this is your place. Also literally on the train line so expect trains at all times including the middle of the night. The upside is your close to town, but other options would be suggested

Spaces are tiny, rv's crammed together, owner is very rude and has a crap ton of cats running around, the smell is TERRIBLE, our site was next to a full time that smoked like crazy, it stunk terribly, we didn't have room to put chairs out (not that the smell would make u want to) we where supposed to stay 8 weeks and left after 1 week. Oh, and a train track along side of the rv park, trains all day and night.

Spots are quite small so I wouldn't recommend larger rigs. Our spot was decent enough. There was literally a train track behind and above our heads, but it never bothered us. Office staff were really nice and bathrooms spotless. We will definitely come back in the future. Enjoyed the cats in the Office as I was missing mine from hkme

Ok, I get it. If I had a job in the area it's a cheap place to put my rig. For a quick stop overnight it's also ok. The all night train switching yard on one side, the noise from the highway traffic, the airport on a third side, a grumpy clerk who didn't want to be there and almost half the store dedicated to Trump memorabilia notwithstanding, a set of ear plugs dealt with most of the issues, staying in your camper and leaving immediately the next day fixed the rest.

Good central location for any events in and around the Louisville location. Had a clean on site store with fuel options. Greenway and tennis courts accross the road. Family owned and they take care of residents and their pets! Dinner theater you can walk to and easy interstate access.

Location is apparently good if you are visiting Louisville. I understand the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were only here one night. We have a Class A. Very tight to get in and lots are very narrow. When coming into the site, stay far to the right of the office building as there is a tight, sharp left turn. You will want to unhook tow vehicle before you start to your site. The staff was helpful to guide you into your site.

This campground was a nice. The workers greeted you and was very helpful. They have gas, diesel, and propane on location with a well stocked store. If you want to visit Louisville KY, it is only across the bridge. The only problem with the campground is that parking is close together and a train passes by all day and night.

This is a unique camping environment. I know there were many comments about the negatives of this campground. I will say before you stay please be aware this is an urban setting. There is road noise, airplanes and yes a train. That being said....here are the many positives. This campground is managed by a great, friendly, helpful staff. The restrooms and store were very clean. The showers are private and very secure. The campground is very easy to find and get to, right off the highway. We needed to get off the road and rest. Slept well, as we were beat! In the end, they get five stars out of five stars. Because they are the best they can be, for what they are. A safe place to land, with a friendly staff.

Nice place for a one night stop over for us on a last minute reservation in Nov 2021. Tight spaces yes. Train noise yes. But clean and well run and nice people. We were in a 30' Motorhome. We appreciate that the campground was there. I recommend Louisville North Campground.

As the ONLY RV park in Louisville, your choices are limited. If you are visiting the city, it is quite convenient. It is also clean and well kept. However, it is right next to the freeway, has a very busy train track right next to it, is under the flyaway for the airport and the spaces are small. It is all LOUD . On the plus side, very nice, helpful staff.

Wonderful place to stop as we drove through. Clean and easy access for a 25 ft rv
