Gorgeous creek flows through this campground. There is occasional trout plants in early summer which can occupy the family. It's not a very deep creek but not overly fast either. Can soak in it but be aware the shaded areas with in this campground have mosquitoes. Bring your bug spray. There is also bears that frequent this area so don't leave food or sweets out.

We want to camp at the lake, but that campground was closed due to flooding. Some of the spots seemed a bit cramped. There is decent privacy with trees between spots. We found a good spot close to one of the restrooms. There is limited area to explore due to all the willows by the creek.

Beautiful campground... Still has yellow leaves but they all turning brown. I wish I had come earlier so I could see so many fall leaves.

Great campground!! Very clean bathrooms. It's about 15 mins to the Lundy Canyon Trailhead. Remember to bring cash to pay for your campsite. We stayed here 1 night last weekend before our backpacking trip. There was still some fall color around.

Always a pleasure. Each site is relatively private and, at $16 a night, you can't beat it. About 1/4 mile from Lundy Lake where there's ALWAYS trout. 45 minutes to Yosemite, about a 30 minute drive from the ghost town of Bodie, 30 minutes from Mammoth Lakes, 20 minutes from Bridgeport, 10 minutes from Lee Vining and Mono Lake.

We visited Lundy Canyon Campground 09/27-09/28/2019 and had a great experience. The sites are mostly tucked into private little aspen groves, which could be spectacular in color during fall! Very quiet, far enough from the highway. Great night sky. Our site (23) also had a brand new fire ring. Bathrooms were clean. No potable water. The only issue we had was it was suuuuuuper windy during our visit. We tent-camped and it was intense. Not sure if that's a regular occurence here.

Amazing Mono County campground in the aspens. Excellent place to see fall colors. Mono County really knows how to run a campground. They take really good care of the place and are also inobtrusive.
