A wonderful spot, very clean and friendly staff. Lake is one of the better lakes we have stayed at and would come back every year if it was closer than 16 hrs drive away. If you have a trailer over 32 feet, some of the round abouts are very tight, and use caution. I madenit around without hitting a tree but watching many people not cut the corner properly. It would be nice to have a couple of trees removed. We were in site 67. Super Dog friendly place also, huge area on the beach for dogs, leashed in the park of course but no issues. Great spot to shut off, no cell service. You can get service closer to Lumby. No shower and great flushing toilets. Cascade Falls hike up the road about 5 km ish, shirt but beautiful. Caution if your not an outdoors person, there is a small section that is on a side hill.

We had an AMAZING experience tenting here with our two children (ages 9 months and 2 years old). Beautiful beach in the day use area that drops quickly, so you are going to want life jackets for non-swimmers! A bit chilly, as it is a glacier-fed lake, but great on a hot day. We were here the first week of September and it was lovely. Large camp sites - big enough for 2 tents or an RV. Picnic table at each site. There is a boat launch and a large stretch of beach that you can also launch from if you don't have a boat trailer. No cell service, internet, power etc. which is great if you are trying to get away from city life. There is a place to charge medical equipment if necessary - check with the staff. Wonderful experience. My two-year-old has been asking to go back everyday since we have been home. Bugs weren't bad the first week of September either.

The people and Kaloya Contracting who employs them are anything but hospitable, don't matter which park you go to that they manage they'll use whatever rule they can to draw every bit of dollar out of you. For example in July they wanted is to pay an extra $22/day because we had an extra 16.5 year old teenager in our group above the max amount allowed, also they'll always charge you for an extra vehicle even when the total occupants on the site is only 4 or less. We understand rules and that they have to be followed, but this company pushes all their employees to the max to enforce only the ones that creates extra income, this we experienced grom several parks they look after. There is a better way to balance this, but when you are blinded by the greed for money you won't even notice this. This day and age when it's increasingly hard to get families and youth out and away from all the modern distractions of society we should be encouraging people coming, instead of creating bad vibes with such a strict management of our parks.

Great Prov. Park. Campsites are big, well kept. The lake is awsome and beaches are good too. Dogs are good away from the sand beach.

Nice beach for a daytime activities and a short swim. Convenient boat launch. Big camp sites but with very little privacy because they are brand new and don't have any bushes around them yet.

Be prepared for no cell phone service at all. Use a physical map or plan the routes ahead, bring cash because no debit machines too. Full tank of fuel too, cuz it is a long distance around and over mountain terrain when travelling the north route. Overall, a great place to get away for this boy scout in a nature hideaway, great setting to get away from city life! Will be back as often as possible now that my first experience was so rewarding.

Great camp site have been going for 18 years. Completely disappointed in the rule change to 100% reservation policies, you have taken away from the people the opportunity to take off camping for the week or weekend. Noticed that around 30%of your sites were empty. And if they are available 1-2 nights is all that's being offered. Prior to this change 14 days was the duration for 1st come 1st served site's.

Had a great time camping here at the main campground. The basics - our site was big enough for multiple tents and 2 cars. There are a few pairs of flush toilets in the campground, kept in reasonable condition. The tap water seemed drinkable. There is a marina boat launch near the overflow camping and day use and general store with ice and a few essentials. The lake - there are multiple beaches and grassy areas. The sand is medium fine, with a few rocks. The water is fairly clean and cold. The scenery is beautiful, it's a massive lake surrounded by mountains. There are logging 4x4 trails all over the mountain, a short hike to Cascade waterfalls, and the Mystic Trail to explore.
