Car camp sites are small and not very private at all. Friendly staff and Bathrooms extremely clean with lots of mirror space. Showers were hot but the shower head was just a tube spraying water, those could definitely be updated. Lots of great destinations nearby. Delivery firewood, electric hookup and water spigot were very convenient

My first KOA in many years. Great crew running the place. Very clean. They have firewood delivered amongst other things to your campsite. Trash service on the morning.  Also the local ferry service to the island will stop by on request, very convenient! Only issue was we were under the only oak tree in the entire complex in late September and the squirrels were chomping on the acorns and dropping them and the debris on the trailer roof, especially at night! Sounded like hail! So avoid Spot 49 during this time!

Nice pull-through full hook-up sites with decent spacing. Friendly staff and good facilities. Got reduced-price ferry tickets to Mackinac Island and free shuttle to the ferry dock. Close to downtown Mackinaw City. Great wifi. Had a reservation for 3 days but decided to cut it short by a day and the owner made the change with no penalty. Thanks! Would definitely recommend this campground for access to the city and island!

We came here for our first family trip and absolutely loved it! We will definitely be planning our trip here again for next summer. The campground is right next to Mackinaw City. The cabins are not too pricey either. We had the 4 person cabin with no bathrooms. The cabin was clean when we arrived and cozy for the stay. The bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily and kept up with well. We didn't use the pool but it looked very clean. They have a nice park with a cozy area to just hang out. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. 10/10 recommend.

We’re new to KOA campgrounds, but this location truly set the bar high. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive—everything from check-in to moving sites was handled smoothly and professionally.

We really appreciated the text updates about campground happenings, and the shuttle to the ferry was super convenient and hassle-free.

The laundry facilities were clean and easy to use, and the pool was a hit with our kids—perfect for swimming and burning off energy.

Highly recommend this KOA for anyone visiting the area. A great experience from start to finish!

We had plans to go to Myrtle Beach but it was raining the entire week . So we decided to go North to Michigan and go to Mackanac Island. The KOA was very clean with new pads , furniture, grill, and fire pit . The staff (Pam)  was very nice and helpful. We rode the Harley thru the Tunnel of trees. Had to cut our trip short, but plan to return and do the upper peninsula.

This KOA is very clean and everyone here is friendly. The shuttle to the ferry was nice and it’s a convenient location. I really enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed once before many years ago when our children were young. The sites were nice, although closer than we perfer, but this campground was built when sites were closer. The service was superb. The bathrooms were very clean, as were the showers. It was so nice we booked a campsite for next Labor Day. It is close enough to town and the Northwest trail that it is easy to ride a bike into town. It's not too far from a public beach on Lake Michigan.  They are a stop for the Shepler Ferry to Mackinac Island and offer discounted tickets.

This is a nice campground with level sites and is relatively quite. Great location to explore the area with only minutes to the ferries and the shops. Large concrete patios really improve the sites. The cable TV has very poor reception but the over the air free TV had 19 channels and perfect reception. So you are better off not using their cable.

We stayed at this KOA for 5 nights. The campground is set up nicely and very user friendly. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. The dog park was great, nice laundry room, pool, bathrooms. They even deliver ice and firewood to your site!!! Everything about this KOA says we hope you come back. Believe me, I will. There’s even a free shuttle to catch the ferry to Mackinaw Island and our pups were welcome too. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this campground!

I was extremely unimpressed by this KOA. Other that a good location (it's right in Mackinaw City), this campground offers a poor camping experience and for the cost. There a better options in the are. Management is unbelievably rude and difficult to deal with. 

The worst campground I have ever stayed in. Dirty sites, rude managemnt, poison ivy, and small, gound-level firepits that are very dangerous if you have small children. I suggest looking at Mill Creek which offers much more for your money.

Site 68 -2 or maybe 3 nights at $40/night Electric and water (30 amp), dump station available, 50 amp and full hook-ups available but were booked. There are back-in and pull-thru sites, decent spacing between sites. Gravel with grass. Our site is not 100% level. Big Rig Friendly. Not aware of any vehicle restrictions as to age or type. WiFi available and works well. Laundry room available. Bathhouses clean, free showers available with hot water. Pet friendly. Staff friendly, helpful. Pool, playground onsite, bicycle rentals, and a few other amenities. Usual KOA quality that you can pretty much depend on. Great location within a mile or two of Mackinaw City.
