Great KOA. Staff is friendly and site, bathrooms & showers were clean. Laundry worked great and is open 24hrs. Hardly any cell service here. We travel in a van and don't need shore power, they allowed us to camp in a cheaper tent site. Lots of beautiful trees to camp under, we picked a site all the way in the back without trees so we had good starlink service.

Kids have the best time with the 2 playgrounds, pool, and tiny arcade. It's not luxury camping, it's a nice middle-ground, sleep in a bed but technically camping type of vibe.

This is an amazing site! The rv sites are beautiful- fire pits and bbq, trees, grass and lots of space between you and the next site over. It's about a (flat) mile walk to the beach. It's very quiet and so relaxing. At the same time, there is also at the camp a playground, arcade, store, pool, ice cream hut, communal cooking area, and communal fire pits. Bathrooms are super clean. The staff are very friendly and very comfortable to be around. We got to tour the cabins and loved them- we may try that next time we come 😄 I highly recommend and plan to come back!

We went here in Jan MLK weekend for a winter camping. It was not a busy season so the KOA is good value. The location is a little remote not very close to Mendocino and Fort Bragg, the latter is a much bigger city. Lots of stores and even gas station were closed in Mendocino at the time of our visit, not many visitors. The KOA is close to Point Arena Lighthouse, a nice place to visit. There is a entrance fee if you want to visit inside of the light house. I like the quietness during our stay, unlike busy seasons, but there was no activities for kids. However the spa pool was open, a plus.

Absolutely awesome campground in an amazing location. The tent sites are huge, have lots of trees, barbecue grills, firings and bench/tables. The staff will bring firewood to the sites. Beautiful views and great coastal access. The tent ground has clean, flushing toilets and clean showers. We really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. The camp store is well stocked and has everything that might be needed. Not exactly cheap - but very convenient. Super friendly and helpful staff. We'll be back!!

Great place for families with kids as they have the heated pool, the playground, and the shared kitchen area. We stayed here only at nights, but we enjoyed our cozy cabin and the electric fireplace.

I wish we could have stayed and enjoyed it a little more but it was just too muddy to do so. The store didn't have much in it and because it's so far from any other store I would have thought they would have more available. Keep the mud down and next time I might stay longer. Maybe in the summer it's nicer. I've heard good things about this location.

One of the last stops we had while travelling to Fort Bragg from Bay Area. There are many photogenic submerged rock formations, and there is an arch rock viewpoint as well. There is famous, private campgrounds for multiple activities which themselves may take a long weekend. Also the namesake State Park is well known for its flora and fauna, and the long equestrian trails. A coworker told me that there is a nice meat restaurant nearby, but we were too late to explore those.

Our granddaughter’s wedding was held here and it was beautiful. The management and staff were so accommodating and willing to work with and help us in any way possible! The setting was so pretty. And the reception hall was perfect. Lots of room.
