Another beautiful visit. Wide empty beach area with driftwood and shore birds. Plus that stellar sunset.

The beach is beautiful. Water is excellent for swimming temperature right now. The only draw back is many people don't pickup after them selves.

Nice campground. Only pit toilets in the loops but not disgusting at all: no smells and are cleaned regularly. The main building with the flush toilets and showers is a bit far. And some campsites are double campsites, so be careful with your reservation. The beach by the lake is beautiful.

The pit/vault toilets here are impressive. The one in loop D would always surprisingly smell nice. What I like most about this campground is the easy access to the lake. You could hear the waves at night, too. It’s definitely therapeutic to hangout at the sandy beach. Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that the coin-operated warm shower costs a dollar per 4 minutes. It can be enough if you don’t wash your long hair.

Awesome place to camp with the family! The shower house is a little dated but in working order. $1 for about 5min shower time. The beach is a little rocky in some places, but nice. You have to wad out to get to deeper water, so fishing from shore doesn't work. The stairs down to the beach are a little sketchy. The patch system is nice. Km's to walk the dog.

Lots of fun to be had in the area, trail network is great, lots of privacy. Make sure you check out the map if you have a dog, because some sections of the beach are dog friendly and some are not. I try to come here a few times a year at least, great for solo campers or groups.

This is a well taken care of campground! Really cheap firewood and the beach is beautiful! Bathrooms (including the outhouses) are all cleaned once a day. Make sure to pack your bug spray!

Awesome family campground. Good clean shower house and washrooms. The beach is one of the best I've seen in Northern alberta. Rocks for a few feet then sand bar. I have a 30 ft tag toy hauler and I was able to turn and park quite easily on the b loop.

It is nice camp ground, Wash rooms were cleaned. Alberta Parks need to work on the lake beach area accessible from A, B, C and D camping sites. They have to remove stones from the beach and make clean sand area so that families can enjoy beach and have some activities rather than worrying about big stones and fallen trees. I know if this was in US they definitely already worked on beach to make this camping ground more attractive.
