i seldom leave reviews but with this one i felt it needed. Marval is a great place if it’s not raining. do NOT go here if it is. the camper sites are very tight especially for those that have 20 ft or less. site 120 should be shut down, do not let them put you here or near it. it’s a mess of a sits and your front door is on top of the next guys sewer. speaking of sewer, these sites do have covers so you’ll smell it during your entire stay.

Just spent 4 wonderful days at Marval. It was wonderful. So many activities. This place is beautiful and so peaceful. Everybody was so nice and a special shout out to Tina from housekeeping. I highly recommend you load up the family and head there. We are already booked for next year!! Can't wait.

My five year old had an amazing time. The playground, jumping pillow and pool was plenty to keep him occupied for an extended weekend. The Halloween event was a blast. (Nice surprise that the pool was still open in October) Our RV site was okay. We had a decent amount of space on our side and nicely shaded. However, our neighbors were right up against us and couldn’t open their awning due to the space restraints. We also had issues finding our campsite as there are no clear indications of which way to turn to get to your site. A worker was kind enough to guide us to our site though. I would also recommend adding an additional dumpster to remove trash at the exit. Showers in the front of the resort were cold. Showers in the back were clean with hot water! (Would have preferred to use the front showers to clean my kids up though as they are much more spacious) The resort is very family friendly. However, it is not very baby friendly (crawling/toddling age) as there were no baby swings and I found it difficult to navigate the gravel roads with the stroller. With all this being said, we will be back again. The workers were kind and my kids had fun while we got to relax a bit. Really hoping for some baby swings and paved roads next trip as we will have another baby joining our family requiring a larger stroller and another baby to entertain.

The wife and I spent our 31st Anniversary here. Marval Trout camp is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very clean and well maintained. We had a great time even though the fishing was slow. We enjoyed everything Marval had to offer. This is a place to put on your bucket list if you like friendly people and enjoy being on the river. With fall coming closer be ready to see all God's beauty as the trees change colors. Oh and just a heads up. The state stocks Trout in the river and will resume stocking I believe November. Happy camping, be blessed .

We just came back from a spectacular weekend trip with our Church Family. It was my first trip to Marval. I loved everything about this place and will be back regularly with my family. I have a 10 yr old and he had the time of his life and I felt comfortable to let him roam and ride his bike around. The amenities were absolutely fantastic. So many fun activities for all ages. My son, myself and our family dog stayed in cabin 330 it was nice and a great location. We loved Water Wars. The clubhouse was awesome for our church services it was so nice and clean. The property is well managed and all staff super helpful. Please check this place out you will not regret it. I know we will be back.
