We stayed on the river side and we loved our stay and we didn’t have neighbors for long periods of time which we loved, nice big spaces and clean and the office/store staff are so nice.. we just had to move to higher rates for summer.. this is a great place..

The park is located on Alesa Bay Waldport OR on the edge of town. Close to grocery store and hardware store. The service was good and the park was clean and well maintained. I stayed on the waterfront sites with full hookups and everything worked fine with a brand new picnic table. The campground store was clean and staff was friendly and informative. My small dog was welcomed as long as she was on a leash. The marina had small crab boats available for rent for $120 for 3 hour crabbing in the bay. I did well catching the limit one day and nothing the second day. They will cook the crabs for you after you clean them at a nice station available on the dock. There was only one coin operated shower on the property.

Beautiful park! The staff are super friendly. Everything is kept clean and working. They have laundry, small store, bathrooms with pay showers, and a boat ramp. Plus, it's a great deal if you want to catch crab. We stayed in the RV section with full hookups and plenty of room for our 38 ft rig. Our kids stayed in the dry camping area. They had a fire ring and picnic table right on the river. We all had a wonderful time!!

The website is slow and full of design glitches that make your booking difficult. The phone number was either turned off or not picked up. The front desk lady behaves as you owned her something. Coins to shower and laundry. No dump station. They asked $5 for filling up a bit of water from a site. The camp host was nice and friendly. Crabbing boat is $120 per trip, the same as the one offered by the marina in town. I will not come back here again for this place.

What a wonderful experience! From the time we arrived, we felt welcomed and gained a sense of community as first timers. We camped among all walks of life and had the chance to really soak it in. The facilities were extremely well maintained! Crabbing was amazing, as were all the activities available. Really enjoyed the staff. Shout out to Randy for making time for our kids and always going above and beyond! Thank you McKinley's! See you soon

I have some family staying here and I love going down and seeing them. They also really love living here at McKinley's because its safe and clean and well kept. The staff seem super nice too. They have showers and a toilet if you need it and on site laundry.

Great location. Nicely paved, large sites. Great views, right on Alsea Bay which gives you a waterfront location but protected from ocean storms. Short walk to town is convenient. Will definitely return. This will be our go-to spot on Oregon coast.

Absolutely Fantastic time spent with family. We went crabbing and everyone caught their limit. The crab were perfect. Shells thick and full of meat, Yum, Yum, Yummy 😋 !!! RV had full hookups with cable TV. Laundry rooms were top notch even though we have full sized washer/dryer in our Motorhome, it was nice to use commercial sized to clean the blankets. Layout of the park is right on the water. Can't wait to go next year!!!

We lucked out and scored a last minute dry spot here and a boat. We had the best time crabbing. The staff helping on dock so knowledge and patient. Both the gentleman on phone with booking and lady checking us in very helpful. We knew coming later in afternoon so filled our holding tank in Newport but if a spot open can fill for $5 if dry camping. We did dump for $5. Great playground is HUGE. Volleyball, basketball, boat with sandbox, horseshoes, and open space. Also a play green grass area in power sites with horse shoes and Corn hole. Picnic tables nice and newly painted. Campers in dry area great and observed 10pm quiet time. Used the laundry and the showers and both cleanest we have ever been to!! You can laugh boats and kayaks here. It is a RV park so tight fitting sites but otherwise perfection.

It's hard to get your boat out on low tide
