Very great place. The management runs the park with a lot of passion and is very hard-working. They are helpful, friendly and always have an open ear. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly. The park is quiet, surrounded by large trees. The park itself has grass, some smaller trees and gravel roads. Basicly in the middle of nature. The roads are regularly maintained. The campers are nice to each other. Also children and pets are welcome. There is also a seasonal pool. Washing machines and dryers are as well available. Last but not least, it's also reasonably priced. I can only recommend the park. Whether for a short or long stay.

This is the Safest and best place we have ever stayed at and management is awesome they very nice and understanding people they help people anyway they can id recommend this place to anybody if you ever stay you will be very pleased

The room is our RV, but everyone has been kind and helpful here. The showers are safe, secure and private with serious water pressure. Coin op laundry is affordable with many machines. The site is lovely and well maintained plus $35/night is a great deal. I promise you that you will never find another park that is more level or more cared for. The showers and bathrooms have individual doors, like hotel bathroom doors, and are really nice. I can’t recommend them enough.

Can't complain one bit. We were just passing through for a few nights while we visited Memphis, and for the price, you can't beat it. Seems that the majority is long term tenants, but the sites we were in were tidy and the park itself was clean. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and gave us some sightseeing suggestions, which we took, and very much enjoyed. The road in is a little bumpy, so be careful, but if you need a spot to stay while passing through, check this place out, for sure!

The owner of this park should be ashamed letting the lady that runs it run it right in the ground. The electric boxes are leaning all over left uncovered and constantly flipping on the box itself. You would think with her whole family living here it would be kept up better than it is. People play music so loud you can hear it in your house over your tv. The roads are full of pot holes the lots are rutted to death and never re graded. Trash everywhere that is never cleaned up coming in or going out. The washing machines and dryers are old and don't wash your clothes very well and 2 bucks per machine. This is not the place they portray it to be online... beware. I will post photos as well...

called for reservations 3 wks ago and told call week b4 to make sure we have a spot. Called 3x - Forwarded to a 901 area code - left messages. No call back. Arrive today "no reservation for you - we are book!" Thx a lot!

i read the reviews of some other people on memphis south campground. i have no idea why you would say such nasty things i have stayed there many of times. months at a time. everyone there is friendly and nice. the staff is very help fill and friendly. to the 1 that wrote a review about the pool i know for a fact that the pool didnt open until may 5 th this year that was 2 days before i had to leave so if you all are going to write reviews make sure its correct and stop bashing people and companys

Park has been sold to new owners and there are still too many permanent trailers on site and men working on broken down cars on their lots. This campground is still very run down and dirty as previous owner Renew Vandenberg left it. I cannot believe that there are gallon milk jugs in ceiling for light fixtures around office . Hopefully new owner will clean up the place and make it inviting for families and not dangerous and scarring as it has been for years. Then maybe we and so many others will give it another chance.

Stayed at park for a two night stay and wouldn’t recommend this campground. Dirty bathrooms, only 1 working washing machine . We have small children and wouldn’t allow them to use pool, because there were numerous grown men sitting in an area next to pool drinking beer and being very loud and obnoxious. Yelling profanity at people around pool. Not a good place . Looks like there are transients hanging out there. Don’t understand why owner doesn’t react to what is going on there. !!!!!
