We camped there as we were traveling through the area. Good parking for your camper and clean bathrooms. We parked our 30ft Arctic Fox fifth wheel with no problem. Friendly staff and convenient to Downtown Gunnison.

Had a great weekend stay here with our RV. The campground has RV spots, a tent area and cabins. The campground was clean and quiet. The tent area located at the center of the campground was especially nice with the grass shade from the large trees. The campground provided live music around the campfire and s’mores on the Friday evening and was a nice surprise. They also had a great little pancake breakfast on Sunday, which was perfect for getting an early start and avoiding breakfast dishes. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend for a future visit.

Spaces are way small, some spaces you can't use your awning because a tree is at the door. If you trailer is over 25 ft. You can't put both vehicle and trailer in the spot. You have to figure out where to park.

We just pulled out of space 103 (Creekside) at Mesa Campground and we like we made two "new old friends". Dianne recently took over management and she bends over backwards to be accommodating. Julie - her Work Kamper was very gracious as well. When we pulled in Dianne asked Julie to please move her parked truck and it happened instantly. Dianne has 30 years as CDL Truck Driver so we knew she could handle things! The park is a little bit out of town on a not super busy highway (minimal noise as can be expected). It's an older park, so that has its own connotations, but Dianne is working hard to keep it up to date and operable. We didn't use the showers, but used restrooms when needed. If you're looking for a nice, family-feel park where you will be treated well, give Mesa Campground a try! We camped at Mesa Campground in a Travel Trailer.
