We camped there as we were traveling through the area. Good parking for your camper and clean bathrooms. We parked our 30ft Arctic Fox fifth wheel with no problem. Friendly staff and convenient to Downtown Gunnison.

Had a great weekend stay here with our RV. The campground has RV spots, a tent area and cabins. The campground was clean and quiet. The tent area located at the center of the campground was especially nice with the grass shade from the large trees. The campground provided live music around the campfire and s’mores on the Friday evening and was a nice surprise. They also had a great little pancake breakfast on Sunday, which was perfect for getting an early start and avoiding breakfast dishes. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend for a future visit.

Spaces are way small, some spaces you can't use your awning because a tree is at the door. If you trailer is over 25 ft. You can't put both vehicle and trailer in the spot. You have to figure out where to park.

We just pulled out of space 103 (Creekside) at Mesa Campground and we like we made two "new old friends". Dianne recently took over management and she bends over backwards to be accommodating. Julie - her Work Kamper was very gracious as well. When we pulled in Dianne asked Julie to please move her parked truck and it happened instantly. Dianne has 30 years as CDL Truck Driver so we knew she could handle things! The park is a little bit out of town on a not super busy highway (minimal noise as can be expected). It's an older park, so that has its own connotations, but Dianne is working hard to keep it up to date and operable. We didn't use the showers, but used restrooms when needed. If you're looking for a nice, family-feel park where you will be treated well, give Mesa Campground a try! We camped at Mesa Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Was a great place to stay! You can RV it, they have small cabins and other accommodations. Went to visit a friend and this is where we met her and stayed in her camper. Again great place and scenery was sooooo gorgeous!!!!

It’s conveniently located near Black Canyon, the mesa, and the Gunnison Reservoir. However, maintenance is lacking. There was no internet access, and the restrooms were cold and dirty. The maintenance log hadn’t been updated since September. Still, the low price was a plus.

I just stopped by to take a shower after being in the mountains for several days, and the showers will clean with hot water, and very affordable! I'll bring my travel trailer back to stay here at some point because it looks like a really nice place.

DO NOT book a tent campsite here. Campsites are under street lamps and there is a TON of noise and additional light at night from cars driving in, dogs barking, babies crying, people talking right outside your tent. We stayed at different campsites the past 3 nights and all of them were better. The people here are not respectful at all. If you need a decent night’s sleep, go anywhere else.

Such a great camping experience with extremely sweet and helpful staff. Paul even helped us start our fire one morning for camp breakfast! Had the best stay and will definitely be back! 100% recommend this place. Easy access to Gunnison and Blue Mesa!

Oh man! I absolutely loved this campground!! I personally had a spot for my RV with an incredible view! (Check out the photos) the staff of the campground were totally friendly and attentive! They saw me struggling with the Rv hookups, and sent a maintenance person to help immediately. The campground is very comfortable and the tent spots I saw were grass, which I love ! The grounds were well manicured and well taken care of. I will 100 percent be back next season without a doubt!! I want to check out their cabins!

Lady at office is not very friendly. Should not be in a customer position the way she comes across arrogant and rude. Went to the store later on and it sign showed it was opened but nobody was there and it was locked. The campground was okay but could use some TLC. Not sure if I would recommend this place. Went down towards Blue Mesa and other campgrounds looked more updated and seemed very friendly. Sorry one star is all you deserve.

We stayed at Mesa Campground for 2 nights recently while our tow car was being worked on in Gunnison. Our decision to stay there was last minute but since it was a Monday, they were able to get us in a spot no problem. The woman who checked us in was super nice and very welcoming. The site she first put us in already had someone in it so we pulled into one a few sites down, went back to tell her what happened and she just moved our reservation to the new spot, no hassles given! The spots have a nice amount of room between sites, which isn’t always the case in RV parks. If we are in the area again and need to stay at a park, we would definitely stay there again.

We pulled in for our stay in early August, and the nicest two ladies imaginable checked us in, and got us settled. Like everywhere they are short on help, but because of their great attitudes and enjoyable personalities, you would never know. We had everything we needed, everything was clean and well-taken care of. This campground is on the way to Blue Mesa reservoir from Gunnison, close to a great fishing spot and if we come back this way - we are definitely staying here. Thank you Mesa Campground!
