I could not have asked for a better place to stay during my visit to Ruidoso. I stayed at Midtown Mountain for nearly two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is so conveniently located. It's next door to a grocery store and shops, bars, and restaurants are within easy walking distance. All of the guests were respectful and quiet. Mark, the owner, was extremely accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area. I can't say enough good things about him and how helpful he was. Everything about this campground is top notch. The RV spots, the bathhouse, the pavilion, the rentals on the property, etc. Stop looking at other sites. Just stay here.

This is our 5th year in a row staying here. Management (Mark) and service is excellent... always. The rates are very good, and the sites are all mostly flat and covered with gravel. There is not a weed in sight. And there are plenty of trees for shade. The bathrooms and showers are always clean, and there is a laundry room. Best of all is the location... you can walk to the center of main street (Sudderth) in less than 15 minutes. There are quite a few restaurants within a short drive, or walk, and there is a nice grocery store right next door. I highly recommend Midtown Mountain CG & RV Park!

Midtown RV park is an Excellent place to stay. Super nice staff... always friendly and helpful, very convenient location in town, great amenities, cute pavillion, bathrooms/showers and everything are always clean and safe. Easy in and out entry and easy parking...we have stayed here many times with 45' motorhome and tow vehicle. Always an excellent experience.

Everything about this campground is perfect. I have stayed here many times and of the last two times I have stayed in the Teepee they offer and it has been a great experience. I 100% recommend staying here if you want something that is not only convenient, but is clean, accessible, and is most of all friendly. P.S. the early mornings there are amazing with the sun beaming through the trees and giving the ground a whole otherworldly vibe.

Nice, small campground with lots of trees and down the street from the shops and cafes. The staff is friendly and helpful. Each site is spacious and has privacy fences made of skis! The 3 toliets with showers are clean, bathmats provided. Small walking trails lead down to a trickle of the river. The higher level would be a more convenient camping spot than the lower level because we had to walk alongside the road on the sidewalk and up the camp road to get to the bathroom. There is a lot of road noise during the day but thankful that it gets quiet at night. I was able to use the laundry too. There’s a Lowe’s supermarket next door and very good place to eat nearby, Tina’s Cafe. We also had a lovely hike at Cedar Creek in the Lincoln National Forest down the road where we saw several elk on the trail. Overall, I recommend this RV park in Ruidoso.

We just finished a 7 night stay and we are coming back next year for sure. Lovely park, easy walk into town, close to some fitness and walking trails. We absolutely loved it here. Mark and team are fantastic, all the facilities here are clean, cozy and wonderful. You gotta stay here when in Ruidoso

We never make reservations when RV camping, just showed up, Mark made room for us. Perfect spot, full hookups if needed, clean showers. Midtown has lots to offer for all traveling. Location is great. Highly recommended.

I had the most beautiful experience at MMCRV — without a doubt, the best campground in town! I was traveling solo with my dog, and we both felt so welcomed and safe. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready with a smile. The location is ideal — just a short walk to Ruidoso Midtown, yet surrounded by peaceful nature. The campground itself is spotless, with great bathrooms, a cozy pavilion for relaxing or meeting other travelers, and a few scenic trails perfect for morning walks. We loved spotting deer, elk, wild horses and other wildlife nearby — it really felt like a retreat into nature without losing any comfort. I can’t wait to return!

Wow! This place is well kept! The bathrooms/showers were so clean! They provide a bath mat and i love the little touchscreen, such as table, plenty of hooks and an occupied/vacant sign on the outside. The site was flat and did not need any adjustment to level. Each site has a picnic table and plenty of room to feel comfortable. It is in a great place that makes it easy to bike/walk downtown and many great food locations. Mark made it easy to check in and feel welcome! I would definitely good back!

Absolutely great place! Clean - FRIENDLY owners - hot and nice shower. Three to five minutes walk to town. Can’t recommend enough. We loved staying in the Teepee cabin. Was less than 40 degrees outside and we had to turn the heater off it was so warm. Comfy too!

Great location. Minutes from all of the bars and restaurants. Relaxing place to stay after a long hike! The used bookstore within walking distance was a fun place to explore as well.

Had a great experience at this RV park! We're newbies and the owners came out as soon as we got there and helped us back into a tight spot, which was super helpful! It's about a 15 minute walk to all the shops downtown. They have 3 private, clean bathrooms with a shower in them so we didn't even have to use our tanks, which was a relief when we left because we didn't have to empty everything this time. We will definitely be back!

We spent the entire summer here and plan to do so each summer from now on. The park is immaculate, lots of large trees and within walking distance to almost everything in town. The owners Rich and Anna are fantastic people. They and the staff are always on site and constantly working to maintain the beauty of the park. They are all helpful and friendly. Their is a potluck each Wednesday evening that is very enjoyable. We have been to lots of RV parks but this one is our new permanent destination.
