Nice RV park, quiet, secluded area on base. Be careful of the rattle snakes at night on the lighted sidewalks if you have pets.

Spacious sites with spectacular mountain views. Occasionally visited by deer and javalinas. Clean facilities with laundromat. Wish the dog pen would be expanded to a full sized dog run. Wish the walkway lights were made dark sky compliant.

Love the location. The only problem is the bathrooms are never cleaned. The last time they cleaned they left the mop and trash in the bathroom for 2 days. I only saw the bathrooms cleaned 1 time is weeks. The host are never out.

Overpriced. Rude service. Unavailable staff often. Poorly posted (or not at all) rules and abrasively enforced. Stay elsewhere. MWR in general on this post is terrible. It’s a shame.

Had a great time and enjoyed the view. Far enough back that you are not bothered by day to day base activities. Plenty of wildlife to see.

This is our first time staying here, and we will definitely be back. We like the location - not too far from Benson or Tombstone both places we went to while we were staying at the base. Base itself is huge. The manager named john, was very efficient and took great care of us. Even called the day we were checking in to make sure everything was going well with us and that we were able to find it. Our space was very spacious and the connections were excellent. Again, all the neighbors that we met were really helpful and very friendly. That is usually the case when you're at a military RV park I have found. The views around the mountains were wonderful. This place gets an 11 out of 10. One small, half surprising thing - I was out the first evening about 7:30 and it was dark okay no surprise there. I heard a funny snuffling and looked around and about 20 yards away were 10 javelinas going through the underbrush around some bushes and trees. I understand these are common to this area. They were not threatening in any way, and didn't seem to be bothered by the fact that there were people and campers around. I was simply surprised by it is all. Still, was a great great stay and again - we will absolutely come here when we're in this part of the country. Two thumbs up. BACK A 2ND TIME, a year after the first visit. Everything is still excellent...

This is really a nice Fam Camp located on Fort Huachuca, SE Airizona. It is right outside Sierra Vista, Az which is a nice town with all your big box stores. Currently it is about 25% full here. All full hookup. Some sites have shade. As you can see, I have a shade cloth on my awning for the morning sun. They have a real nice laundry room here. You do need a military ID to get on post where the RV resort is located. Apache Flats. The post offers a lot of hiking trails, and of course PX and commissary. A lot of wildlife, be alert to the Havelinas. If you do not might the 6am bugles and bugles through the day with helicopter flights at night, you will love it here. You are about 45 minutes from Tombstone.
