We live full time at the RV Park at Redstone Arsenal. You can reserve a spot for 6 weeks then you have to reserve another spot for 6 weeks. Sometimes it's annoying to move around but it's worth it. Wifi and electricity are included. Best "gated" place to live.

This is an amazing find in northern AL. This is the MWR RV park on Redstone Arsenal proper, not to be confused with MWR Easter Posey CG on the Tennessee River. That CG is no hookups and not designed for big rigs. This RV park consists of 70 sites (with more under construction) that are approx 25'x65' pull-through concrete pads with 50A FHU. Only sites 8-14 are back in. Check in is easy: enter through Gate 8 on Goss Rd, find your site, park, and you're done. There are 2 hosts that go around and mark all reserved sites each day. No need to check in at an office. The commissary, exchange and gas station (no diesel) are all less than a mile away. The FBI, BATF, and NASA have major facilities on base along with several major Army commands. No active duty units on the base according to the host. There is a paved walking/bike trail very near the campground that you can take all the way around the base (12.2 miles). The nearby NASA Visitor Center for the Marshall Space Flight Center costs $25, but has plenty to do for kids and adults.

All pull through and full hook ups. Check GPS routing and gate hours if not familiar.

Over 70 spaces with more being built. Reservations a must for more than a day. Every space is a level concrete pad. There is a host on site. Convenient to PX, commissary & medical clinic. It is located within 5 miles of space and rocket center. you must be authorized to access an use military facilities.

Wonderful camping experience. There are large level concrete slabs with full hook-ups. We used our antenna for TV since there were over 30 channels. There are also laundry, pet park, severe storm shelter, showers, internet. The sites are well spaced with plenty of room and it is quiet.

The sites are large pull throughs. Large concrete pads with grass, gravel roads. Large and small dog park with gravel. Laundry facilities are clean. 1/2 mile to PX and Commissary. Gas station within 1/2 mile easy to pull through for big gas Class A’s, we are 39’. No shade but the weather was great while we were here. Photo is a panoramic from the dog park looking out across the park.

Park is located on the base. Great place if your in the area and have the accessibility to utilize. MWR personnel are helpful and kind. New campground host was warm and welcoming, happy to meet them! The pads are huge and most are pull through. The price per night is fantastic. Was surprised at how many residents are permanent to the park though, maybe they need a separate park for people to live all the time so there is better accessibility for those who travel through.
