Amy and the staff were absolutely amazing. The battery in our smoke detector, in our camper, went bad during our stay and was driving us crazy. I went down to the camp store, and they were not due to open for another couple hours. When they saw that I needed something, they chased me down and was more than willing to go back to their shop and get a battery for me. The grounds are super clean and the lot sizes are very nice. We definitely will be back.

This place is great! The I couldn't be there before they closed and would be checking in around 7:30pm. They had everything ready for us and pinned to a board outside for us to access. No issues on checking in or out. The site was nice anlevel and plenty latg enough for our truck and trailer. The water has plenty of pressure and the electric is nice and new and easy to get to,as is the septic. They have lots of spaces. They also have games and entertainment for all who come. The bathrooms were larg and spacious with a stand up shower in them with 24hr access. I didn't use the laundry but they do have it here to use. They close to the hyway so it is a little noisy at night but not bad. This was definitely put on my stay here list when coming through.

My husband & I took our household camping for the first time. It was 2 adults, 2 kids - age 13 & 10, 2 dogs) We didn't want to be far from home for being our first time, 30 minutes away from where we reside. We rented this for 2 nights. This was a perfect choice. We rented a cabin due to my husband's sleep apnea and wasn't sure what the weather would be like as it can be unpredictable at times! (Welcome to the Midwest!) Staff (Ami & Patrick) were extremely helpful and friendly! Highly recommend! The campground is well taken care of and you can see the love being poured into the place! The photos are after we got packed up. I cleaned up afterwards and a photo during one of many bonfires as we used this as our source of cooking. The placement we had, bathroom was perfect walking distance to everything in the campground. We saw they have other things to enjoy that we didn't partake it but we plan to camp again in the warmer months too to enjoy the other things then. Also, We just took advantage and went to Pokagon State Park, 14 minute drive. $7 to get in for the day! It was beautiful there. I love that certain things are within reasonable driving distance.

We were on a journey this summer to find a possible seasonal campground. Through a Google search we found Happy acres. What a hidden gem this place is . Things started out a little rocky. When we went to hook up our water it busted the waterline. Within 10 minutes of calling the after hours phone number the owner was there along with many other employees to help get things going. We had water back on in less than an hour. After that, it was smooth sailing. Everyone is so friendly. The lots are so spacious. They have nightly, monthly, seasonal, whatever you’re looking for this place has it. On our departure, they made sure they text us and told us the quickest way to get out onto the highway. They are always looking out for their guests.

Very nice campground. The sites are well spaced, level, and have what looks like new electric, water and sewer hookups. Everything from the landscaping to the buildings to the pool are all very well maintained and clean. Check-in was easy and even included a personalized campground map. They even had a nice personalized tag already on our campsite # sign that was laminated. After setting up went to office for a restaurant recommendation. Very nice staff, met the owners and following their advice had a excellent dinner. It is obvious the owners and staff take pride in their campground. It was a perfect stop as we were heading back home from the U.P. of MI. We will definitely be back next time we pass through the area.
