Amy and the staff were absolutely amazing. The battery in our smoke detector, in our camper, went bad during our stay and was driving us crazy. I went down to the camp store, and they were not due to open for another couple hours. When they saw that I needed something, they chased me down and was more than willing to go back to their shop and get a battery for me. The grounds are super clean and the lot sizes are very nice. We definitely will be back.

This place is great! The I couldn't be there before they closed and would be checking in around 7:30pm. They had everything ready for us and pinned to a board outside for us to access. No issues on checking in or out. The site was nice anlevel and plenty latg enough for our truck and trailer. The water has plenty of pressure and the electric is nice and new and easy to get to,as is the septic. They have lots of spaces. They also have games and entertainment for all who come. The bathrooms were larg and spacious with a stand up shower in them with 24hr access. I didn't use the laundry but they do have it here to use. They close to the hyway so it is a little noisy at night but not bad. This was definitely put on my stay here list when coming through.

My husband & I took our household camping for the first time. It was 2 adults, 2 kids - age 13 & 10, 2 dogs) We didn't want to be far from home for being our first time, 30 minutes away from where we reside. We rented this for 2 nights. This was a perfect choice. We rented a cabin due to my husband's sleep apnea and wasn't sure what the weather would be like as it can be unpredictable at times! (Welcome to the Midwest!) Staff (Ami & Patrick) were extremely helpful and friendly! Highly recommend! The campground is well taken care of and you can see the love being poured into the place! The photos are after we got packed up. I cleaned up afterwards and a photo during one of many bonfires as we used this as our source of cooking. The placement we had, bathroom was perfect walking distance to everything in the campground. We saw they have other things to enjoy that we didn't partake it but we plan to camp again in the warmer months too to enjoy the other things then. Also, We just took advantage and went to Pokagon State Park, 14 minute drive. $7 to get in for the day! It was beautiful there. I love that certain things are within reasonable driving distance.

We were on a journey this summer to find a possible seasonal campground. Through a Google search we found Happy acres. What a hidden gem this place is . Things started out a little rocky. When we went to hook up our water it busted the waterline. Within 10 minutes of calling the after hours phone number the owner was there along with many other employees to help get things going. We had water back on in less than an hour. After that, it was smooth sailing. Everyone is so friendly. The lots are so spacious. They have nightly, monthly, seasonal, whatever you’re looking for this place has it. On our departure, they made sure they text us and told us the quickest way to get out onto the highway. They are always looking out for their guests.

Very nice campground. The sites are well spaced, level, and have what looks like new electric, water and sewer hookups. Everything from the landscaping to the buildings to the pool are all very well maintained and clean. Check-in was easy and even included a personalized campground map. They even had a nice personalized tag already on our campsite # sign that was laminated. After setting up went to office for a restaurant recommendation. Very nice staff, met the owners and following their advice had a excellent dinner. It is obvious the owners and staff take pride in their campground. It was a perfect stop as we were heading back home from the U.P. of MI. We will definitely be back next time we pass through the area.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I loved the laundry facilities and dog area. The bathroom was very clean and nice. We sat in the covered patio area on the sofa and enjoyed the lovely evening. We stayed through harvest host, we were given the opportunity to upgrade to a paid site but we decided on boondocking in the parking lot. It was level and easy to park. Plus it was a nice view!

This is an amazing small campground with lots of amenities. It is clean and well taken care of. It is very convenient if you are visiting Trine University.

This is a wonderful campground that offers alot! Nicely kept facilities as well as plenty of activities to do, including and in-ground pool. A pond for fishing and swimming as well. Playground for kids, etc. The location is perfect if you need to get back to civilization in a heartbeat too!

We just stayed at Happy Acres this past weekend and my Sister and brother-in-law brought their camper and stayed at the site next to us. The campground was doing Christmas in July, which was a lot of fun. To say that this campground is extremely clean and very well organized, would be an understatement. This campground is immaculate and their organization was second to no other campground we have ever stayed at. They send texts to the person who books the reservation, every step of the way. We got emails after we booked to confirm, and then we received texts regarding checking in, and then 1/2 hour to 45 minutes before each event they had going on each day, so that you wouldn’t miss out on anything. We even got texts when we were getting ready to head home. It was so nice that they keep you up to date on everything. The sites were very large, and as I said before, everything was kept immaculate. We used the pool while we were there too and that was also kept very clean. We had a couple visitors come to see us while we camped and they were extremely impressed with the campground as well. The staff went out of their way to make sure you felt welcome and that you enjoyed your stay. We had so much fun and we will definitely be back again soon!

Well I have very mixed feelings about this place which seemed as if " to try to run the place like a military camp", and at the prices that were charged for seasonal rates, I found the place in adequate to our needs! There is 2 old and broke down washers and one dryer on site for the residents, the pool (which sits right beside the dumping station), is out dated and needs to be resurfaced, the bath houses as well are old & needs to be updated badly, as well as their aren't any activities for kids, and the whole campground is within a few feet of 69 xpresway and the noise level from the traffic is a constant annoyer so needless to say when next season gets here I will not return to this most overpriced and I adequate campground I am definitely going to another more suitable and honestly advertised campground!

Came across this camp ground by chance and figured we would give it a try. The new owners are very friendly and helpful. The campground was well taken care of and clean. There are many improvements underway. The new owners and camp hosts were extremely active over our entire stay. The campground has many paths and lots of green space for walking, exercising, and other sporting activities. There are two very nice ponds on the property that are well kept and provide shaded areas to relax. The seasonal residents were very friendly and welcoming. We definitely will be staying again, can't wait to see the new pool!

Great place to camp !! Not the most fancy of places but it serves the purpose! Pool is nice and ponds are great for frog catching. They have definitely earned our business for future stays
