Played disc golf and there is fishing ,bike riding ,walking trails . Lots of things to do great family area . Disc golf course is a 22 hole set up .

we didn’t stay too long coz our toddler’s already fuzzy and cold. but the park’s pretty cool, not crowded, but not good for fam w a toddler.

The facility was enjoyable. Staff was on hand and very helpful. Kiddos loved the Splash Pad. They even have covered patios with tables. Good location for our next event.

I love it here, there is a splash pad for kids 🤣 or grown ups😂 Also BBQ pits spread out all over. Water fountain and spigots. Lush green grass all over and fishing too. Nice for picnic, birthday party, or piece and quiet. Also nice for 5th step. I'll be doing 2 this week. So just an all around great place in the summer 🌞

If you like to ride trails, dirt or concrete, then this is the place, it has lakes, camping, ducks, fishing, riding, cattle, Wet pad and play ground for kids, and they are building new horse stables, its so nice here, come try it out. Im on the other side of the lake now, and didn't get pics of the camp grounds, but they do have full hook up, and dry camping, and bon fire pits. and the price is really really good!!

Gone here for my whole life !!! I buy the pass it pays for itself in about 8 visits !!! Kids love it !!! Water playground in summer and a huge playground all year !!! Frisbee or disk golf, horse rides, fishing, trainls to walk, etc... Beautiful place, sometimes the bus are a bit much...

Our family came here to do a quick RV camping trip for the kids. We read the reviews about the train and thought it wouldn't be a big deal. The train...was very loud. I thought we would see it go by a couple of times but it would run by what seemed like three times per hour. And literally the tracks are right over the fence. You can feel the train go by in the trailer. And it certainly woke me up about 3 times in the night. But I'm a light sleeper. Other than that, it was a pleasant, family-friendly experience. Thumbs up!

Gorgeous rec area .. it needs a ranger or two to enforce peace and order. SOME visitors are inconsiderate of the environment.

This is a great park to camp in. We stayed one night in January, so there weren't many people here. It's beautiful and quiet, except for the trains which are fairly constant. Less at night.

Great place to bring the family if your looking to camp, fish, and relax by the lake. They have two different lakes for fishing, a playground, which doubles as a water park during the summer, and plenty of spaces to trailer camp, and tent camp. Full hookups are available at a fair price. This place really gets busy during the holidays so book in advance.

I've been coming to this park for years but only recently learned of the second lake and the walking/hiking trail. The trail is flat and concrete which might make it convenient for those with motorized scooters, canes, or walking sticks. I've seen many riding by with e-bikes. Lots of people fishing. It's usually a quiet trail with occasional dog walkers and other walkers/hikers. There's not much coverage and during the summer it can be hot without a visor. The walk from the yellow/white poles to the bridge is about 1.5 miles. Round trip it's about 3 miles. I haven't gone further than the bridge. The park itself has a splash pad for kids during a hot summer, playground, horse area (although I've only seen two horses in 6 years), another lake, a bridge, a camping area, picnic tables (that can be reserved for gatherings), and lots of grass space for frisbee, reading and more. Overall, it's a great regional park. Very nice and informative people at the entrance gate.
