Monte Vista Village RV Resort

Lots & lots of amenities. 12 dedicated pickleball and 10 tennis courts. 5 pools, 3 hot tubs. Been on RV side and have owned a home last few years but we have decided to go back to RV side instead. With a home and yearly increases to keep up with the Jones's (other communities as I was told) the extra costs and hassle with parking and communication with the ever changing office staff is just not worth it.

This is the nicest rv resort we've been in in Arizona. The lots are large with cement pads and patios and the rest is rock. It's a huge park, with lots of activities and amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, friendly staff. Very vice spaces and the park is immaculate. Extremely well kept and organized. Lots of shopping and food nearby. A newer park that I would recommend. Accommodation for larger rigs with cargo trailers as well. Can't say enough good things about this park.

Stayed for one month with our fifth wheel. Location is great and lots of amenities. Very expensive though if you are on a budget. I paid about $1345 for the site which is about average for the area. However, on check-out is where they get you. I have stayed many other places for a month or less but have never been charged for, power, water, sewer and trash!!! Most resorts will charge for electricity if you stay longer than a month but this is ridiculous!! This is on top of the $174 they charge in tax for the site. If you aren't concerned about cost this is a great place to stay.

We looked at a lot of RV resorts in the area before choosing Monte Vista to stay for several months. Really like living in a resort. Great fitness center, tons to do, 5 pools and friendly staff.

This place is the best! My company, Diamond Shield for Windows have serviced this community for 3 years. They are consistent! Consistent with the activities, the entertainment, the property is extremely well kept, proactive to stay ahead of the issues, and always greeting you with a smile! Job well done Monte Vista Resort🏜 Setting the standard for a vacation👍

Nice clean newer RV Park with lots of amenities. Friendly staff. Not easy if you have a large Dog as everything is either concrete or decorative rocks and landscaping is still maturing. Dog Park area was a hike from our site. I ended up driving to the Dog park most of the time.

We’ve only been here a week and feel right at home!! The staff here is hard working, professional and so nice! So many amenities you don’t ever have to leave! Love it.

Clean wide concrete pads, gated for security, wonderful pool, nice laundry, had other amenities but didn’t use them. Lots of stores and restaurants within a few miles. Beautiful sunsets! Will definitely be back. Jo and Lori were so helpful for our stay here. Highly recommend.

This is our third visit and we find this park clean, secure, quiet and full of opportunities for staying active! Beautiful and clean pools, restrooms/showers, plenty of lounge chairs, full library and active pickle ball participants! Friendly staff and circulating security staff! Peaceful!! We could live here!!

So they were willing to take my money with all of my information. Send me several confirmations and well wishes of my soon visit and lo and behold 23 hours before my arrival they tell me that they will not honor my reservation due to a 7-month age discrepancy. After I made intentional doctor and dental visits convenient to the location of the RV resort. This is hardly acceptable or convenient and I was given nothing but " it's the policy" this was supposed to be a one-night stay for convenience, health and practicality. As a campost and full-time retired nomad I will be letting people know this horrible experience and company.

Monte Vista is a 55+ community. As very active seniors, we were a bit skeptical. While there are numerous folks that are not terribly active, there is a large contingent of very fit and very active people. It is a safe, clean environment and is very dog friendly.

This is our second year here and here are a few observations. If there is an empty rv spot, people will walk or drive thru the spot as a short cut. Even the staff does this. Observe some here in the rv section with a large dog. When they are gone it barks at anything that goes by, plus they do not appear to be of the age requirement for being in the resort. Cleaning staff need training on cleaning. You can go into any of the showers and the same trash that was in there the previous week is still there. Also there is drain flies in the men’s showers. Staff does not follow some of the same rules as residents or invents rules. Also rules are not enforced across the board. For example no parking RVs after dark. Several times I have witnessed security escorting rv to rv spots after dark. The amenities are very nice, but they are starting to price residents out of the resort.
