Wow and, wow. I have been to many state campgrounds and Moon Lake SRS is one of the best. Clean, well made and absolutely lovely. Just off the highway, it is a great stop on your travels or perfect destination. Bring your watercraft if you want to get out on a nice, calm lake. There is a small but very nice beach. Every site has a decent view of the lake and there is a nice buffer between them. The toilets even smelled like fresh paint! As the sun set I was thinking the only thing we need is a loon calling across the lake. i had to wait for the morning but sure enough, the loon call was there in the morning mist.

A nice campground but for our wilderness taste, the sites are kind of close together. Nice lake. Locals seem to drive through frequently just to look around? Very close to Alaska highway so lots of truck noise.

Beautiful place to connect with nature. Clean areas and beautiful clean water. Perfect to spend some family quality time.

This is a quiet and beautiful place. There are 13 camp sites. 2 sites can accommodate big RV.

Great for kids and pets. Excellent bird viewing and little goat trails to walk on in the woods. Very nice new campground.

This place is spectacular. I had the campground nearly to myself and went out paddleboarding and saw a moose swim across the lake. No frills, no hookups, but great campsite.
